Kandagawa Jet Girls – Episode 9 – The Feisty Shrine Maiden

December 10, 2019 by Chikorita157 5 Comments

Misa and Rin steps in to stop her from doing something dangerous.

The preliminaries near. While Misa and Rin trained, they noticed a girl trying to jump off the bridge. I wonder why?

Now that the preliminaries are near, Rin and Misa has to prepare so they can make it to the next round. While training, they saw a girl with a ponytail trying to jump off a bridge. Thankfully, Rin and Misa stopped her from doing it. Apparently, she seems upset that she is not meeting the expectations of her partner. I wonder why. It becomes obvious once Rin and Misa race them. Thankfully, after talking it out, she decides not to do it.

Misa’s and Rin’s competition in the first race.
This can explain why Fuka has relationship issues.

The next day, the first preliminary race begins. Rin and Misa will face off against the shrine maiden pairs. Their names are Tamaki Fuka that they on the bridge. Her partner is Misuda Inori. The funny thing is that when they race each other, Fuka had a completely different personality. I guess this can explain the relationship issues between Fuka and Inori. While Fuka is not hesitant to ram her heavy jet ski, it’s obvious that they had a disadvantage acceleration wise until they hit top speed.

It’s okay, at least she tried.

In the end, Misa manages to activate the power down on Fuka’s and Inori’s jet ski. In the end, the race ended in a draw. I guess this is bound to happen, but at least this is the best result. At least Misa and Rin didn’t lose and they will advance to the next round. Still, it’s quite amazing how Rin manages to gain all those muscles. I guess Misa did well in training her. With that, the next episode is the beach episode before focusing on the next phase of the competition.

Not necessarily. This show is my guilty pleasure for this season since I don’t normally cover shows nowadays with a lot of fanservice, but this show is still very enjoyable mostly because of the pairings and the developments despite not being groundbreaking in terms of story. Still, that is okay.

What developments? They literally don’t develop cause it has no actual direction

The wait for the Miko Team’s debut was worth it. Inori wearing the pants in their relationship was a nice surprise. Fuka made the right call asking Inori to become her partner.

Rin and Misa interpreting Fuka’s problems as sexual was glorious.

I kinda like the races not being weekly because it gives us more time with the girls and when we do get a race it’s all the more exciting.

There can never be enough swimsuit episodes. HYPE!

I have a feeling that Inori is most likely okay with Fuka going all out. But yes, it’s nice to see them how they do in the race, and pretty good, although they tied.
