Last time, Rin and Misa receives a racing challenge from Hell’s Kitchen. However, it didn’t turn out well as they hoped.
It’s quite obvious that Rin and Misa are at a huge disadvantage. Not only Dina and Ziyu had a huge lead, it seems that Rin and Misa had a hard time working as a team. Their performance is very disappointing compared to their second race. As always, Dina and Ziyu handily beaten them. Not only Rin and Misa lost their slot to practice on the river at least for now, Rin seems upset.
Sure, Rin tried to hide how she felt, but Misa and Hina eventually notices. Misa has to do something to make up to her. After all, she needs to resolve her ability to communicate with her to improve their teamwork. While Rin wants to visit the maid café again in Akihabara, Misa want to go somewhere else. She wants to make up for the last two times by taking her to Asukasa.
With that, Misa takes Rin on another attempt of a date. When they are about to take a selfie, she gets interrupted again. This time, it’s Team Baba Girls, which consists of Manatsu and Yuzu. It’s obvious that Misa doesn’t want her date become ruined again. She challenges them.
Yes, Misa expected a race, but instead of that, they done various activities while wearing swimsuits. This includes bowling, basketball, riding on hoverboards, ping-pong, and Dance Dance Revolution. Of course, Rin and Misa done pretty badly with these activities while Manatsu and Yuzu had no trouble. At least they are having fun.
Eventually, Emily and Jennifer came to visit. They referee another game that resembles dodgeball, but the other teams have to hit the targets. Of course, Rin and Misa did poorly. It’s not because they are bad at dodging balls or scoring points, but rather the lack of teamwork. Manatsu and Yuzu was dominating them because they have good communication and cooperation.
At the end of the day, Rin and Misa lost in pretty much every activity. At least they had fun. When Rin started to apologize to Misa, she finally revealed how she felt about losing the race. She blames herself. Misa eventually says that it’s not the case as she was stupid while she hugs her. She is happy that Rin was angry on her behalf.
When Rin realized their poor communication, Misa asks for her phone number. Of course, Rin is happy since she never thought that Misa wouldn’t do it. At least she now has the courage to do it, showing her first step in resolving her communication issues with Rin. As expected, this scene is pretty heartwarming. Hopefully with this resolved, they can get back into the game.
Bless this show. Bless everything about it I tell you.
Misa stepping up as her relationship with Rin grew stronger. The sky’s the limit now! From the moment Rin apologized to them texting each other at night it was all beautiful.
The entire pool scene was magical.
Emily and Jennifer make the world a better place.
The twins have more goodness to share next time too.
It’s good that Misa took the initiative to get closer to Rin and also asking for her phone number. I guess things can only get better from here. But still, it’s a very nice episode.
