Last time, Enterprise faced off Zuikaku in a distressed state. Thankfully, a certain maid boat girl help protect her. Who is she?
It’s quite obvious that Enterprise is dedicated to her duty to the point where she risks her own life. Thankfully Belfast came to save the day with her legendary strength. With reinforcements coming, it’s obvious that Prinz Eugen can’t possibility face them all off. Since Zuikaku damaged, they decided to cut their losses and retreat.
Either way, this is a good end result even if the Union received a lot of damage. After all, Enterprise was in grave danger. The interesting thing is that Laffey gave a friendly goodbye to Ayanami, which confuses Javelin. It’s obvious that she is still trying to become friends with her despite being on different sides.
Of course, the focus of this episode is on Enterprise and Belfast. It’s obvious that Enterprise believes that her existence is to defeat sirens. In a flashback, Yorktown who is her sister mentions about remembering the wishes people place in her name. I wonder what this is. She also mentions the beauty of the seas engraved deep inside the souls of all boat girls. I guess this is a sign that Enterprise haven’t realized that her existence is more than just fighting and defeating sirens. I guess she will find out for herself eventually.
With that, it’s understandable why Prince of Wales and Illustrious seems worried about Enterprise. Yes, she is reckless as she continues to fight despite being in a distressed state. It’s easy to see why they ask Queen Elizabeth to intervene.
Sure, she is reluctant to do so, but since Enterprise saved Unicorn, she had Belfast observe her. After all, Unicorn eventually thanks her as the girls played on the beach. Yep, it’s a nice beach scene, but it’s quite obvious that Enterprise won’t play with them. Of course, she gave the usual answer of it being her duty when Unicorn thanks her for being saved.
When Unicorn ask Enterprise if she is afraid of the ocean, this brings up an interesting point. After all, Enterprise doesn’t see beauty in the ocean, but a battlefield. This can explain why Belfast seems concerned about her as she observed her. Not only that, she reveals her intention of observing her. She fears that Enterprise is losing her ways.
Thankfully, this is not necessarily the case when she responded to a distress call from two ship girl sisters. When she protected them from a siren, she didn’t realize her weapons are still damaged. Thankfully, Belfast came to the rescue and finished it off. She soon realizes the other side of her and decides to train her. I wonder what will come from this. We’ll find out soon enough.
