Namiki Rin has a dream of becoming a jet racer after seeing her mother do it on TV. Several years later, she moves to Tokyo to achieve her dream.
At a glance, Rin is at a viewing party for a jet race competition. After Rin saw her mother win the competition on television, she wants to become a jet ski racer like her. Several years later, we saw that her mother passed away. Is it from a mysterious illness or an accident? We might find out in a future episode.
As expected, when Rin left and arrive at Tokyo, she is excited for what the city has to offer. Instead of heading to the dorm, she become amazed by how cute the girls are. It’s quite obvious that they are different teams that will participate in the competition. Yes, there is a duo that are really close that they look like a couple.
Meanwhile, Misa practices shooting on a jet ski using a simulator. She seems frustrated by how unrealistic the simulation is that she gives up. It seems that she is frustrated about jet skiing that she kicks the machine. I wonder what is frustrating her? I guess we’ll find out soon enough.
While Rin realized that she forgot to head to the dorms, a guy stole her bag. After realizing this, she chases after him, until Misa stopped him by tripping him. That shows that he shouldn’t mess with Misa. Either way, Rin meeting Misa was done by fate? Most likely.
Sure, Misa acts somewhat cold towards Rin after she reveals the inflatable dolphin plush from the bag, she didn’t realize that she is her roommate. I find it funny how Misa reacts when Rin is in the same dorm. Not only that, Misa will share the same room with her. Of course, Rin jumped on her bed and smelt her body odor. Yep, Misa becomes embarrassed showing that maybe she secretly likes her, but won’t admit it. Eventually, she will defrost as time goes on.
Still, I find it funny how Rin is trying to get closer to Misa, but she tries to avoid her. Misa eventually overhears Rin talking to Hina as she mentions something about jet skiing. Rin eventually finds Misa fishing.
Eventually, the Musashino Girl’s High School Jet Racing Club interrupts Misa’s fishing. They want to use the river for racing practice. The funny thing is that Rin challenges the rich young lady, Shiyuin Kaguya to a friendly race. It’s obvious that Rin is eager to jump in since it’s her dream after all. But is this a good idea considering that Rin doesn’t have much experience controlling a jet ski? Given Kaguya’s experience, Rin will have a hard time defeating her in a race.
Meanwhile, Misa doesn’t seem to want to do it, but Rin drags her into it. She thought that she given up on jet skiing since the running and simulations is a waste. When she does it for real as the race begins, it seems that this changes her mind. Sadly, she kind of let her guard down and the maid girl shoot her butt. It’s quite obvious where this is going.
As expected, this show has fanservice and it won’t be for everyone. Still, I have a feeling that maybe the clothing damage has something to do with the race. After all, the series is made by the producer who is behind Senran Kagura. Aside from that, the girls are attractive and cute. Either way, the next episode should reveal the rules behind the jet ski race.
So far it’s everything I hoped it would be from an adorably gay protagonist, several lovely couples and tons of top notch sexiness. Ready for more BABEH!
I agree, but hopefully there will be some good relationship development. I don’t think this will become another Two Car, which better not be.
