You might be wondering why a certain someone is curious about Machio. It becomes obvious when he goes to Japan to meet him.
While the girls focus on back training, apparently someone shows up. Yes, it happens to be Barnold Shortsinator, which is quite obvious who he is based on in real life. Hibiki and Ayaka gets all excited when they saw him while Zina, Akemi and Satomi have no idea who he is. I guess they haven’t watched any movies that he stars in. The funny thing is that Akemi becomes obsessed after seeing his muscles regardless. Also, I find it funny how Hibiki and Akemi becomes upset after Satomi said something unforgivable.
Apparently, he is trying to get into contact with Machio. Apparently, Barnold was Machio’s body building master during university. He decided to visit him because Machio never contacted him after returning to Japan. It’s obvious to see why. Barnold accidentally dropped his phone containing Machio’s address in a pool of water. I thought that newer smartphones are waterproof to a certain extent. Sadly, Barnold’s wasn’t. Meanwhile, Machio crushes his smart phone while he was posing. I wonder why he needs to use his smart phone while posing? Maybe he wants to record it.
This makes me wonder how Machio manages to do that? When Barnold give him his first challenge of gripping a hand grip, Machio gripped it. As you would expect, he destroyed it as it becomes malformed. With that, he passed the first test. As for the second test, it involves a bodybuilding competition. Of course, Machio’s muscles was too much for everyone to handle that the force of his muscles literally destroys everyone’s clothes.
In the end, the competition was obviously a test so Barnold can face Machio in a face to face competition. Yes, a competition in Las Vegas between Barnold and Machio. Too bad Machio turns it down because of work. This is bound to happen since Machio is dedicated to his role as a gym trainer. Maybe someday, he will face him, but it’s not anytime soon.
“Not Arnold” having more to do on the show and “Not Jason Statham” being there catapulted the show to an 11/10.
Yes, definitely, but I never expected that he will actually show up and that he taught Machio. I guess the movies that Ayaka and Hibiki enjoys is a foreshadowing. Still, it makes sense for Arnold reference to show up at some point since he is a famous body builder.
