Re:Stage! Dream Days – Episode 8 – Sango’s New Rivalry Against Mana for Aone’s Heart

August 25, 2019 by Chikorita157 3 Comments

While Mana’s friends are worried about screwing up, Mana is sure they did well.

Now that KiRaRe performed in the preliminaries, they watched Ortensia on stage. Of course, a member from Stella Maris confronts Mana for some reason. I wonder why?

Yukari and Haruka are happy how their performances turn out.

As expected, KiRaRe saw Ortensia’s performance in the competition. It seems that they improved since Sayu, Mana and Minori helped them out. Of course, Misaki Sango badmouths them thinking that their performance was “play time at a kindergarten.” Yes, that is pretty harsh since Ruka thought it was a very good performance. Still, it’s not too surprising to see Sango this conceited since she thinks they aren’t good enough to become rivals worthy for Aone.

Sango is not happy that Aone perceives Mana as more important than her.
This can explain why Sango have a crush on Aone.

It’s quite obvious that Sango has a crush on Aone. After all, Anone complimented, invited into Stella Maris, and encouraged Sango. The funny thing is that she has a whole notebook of things about Aone. However, she becomes envious that Aone finds Mana more important than Sango. It’s not too surprising since Mana is Aone’s little sister after all. She is waiting for Mana to eventually reunite with her.

As expected, bullying Mana isn’t a good idea. Sayu jumps in to defend her.
Kae takes out her secret weapons that contain blue lasers.

Of course, this doesn’t stop Sango from trying to bully Mana. She eventually finds Mana with Sayu and Kae by chance. Now, she decides to belittle Mana by saying that Mana is good for nothing and always running away. She also calls her friends good for nothing, which understandably upsets Sayu and Kae. It’s a good thing that Sayu and Kae stood up for Mana. Kae also takes out her idol google gadget to send a laser at Sango.

Before Ruka took Sango away, Kae taunts her some more.
At last, Ruka carries Sango away.

Thankfully, Ruka came to deescalate the situation and drag Sango away.  I find it funny how Ruka come to carry Sango away. Before that happen, Kae used a megaphone to blare the word “uncle” in Sango’s ears. Yes, Sango kind of deserved this.

As for Stella Maris, their performance amazed everyone. It’s quite obvious that they will advance. Thankfully, KiRaRe along with Ortensia made it to the next round as well. When Mana shared the news, her friends felt down. This is not too surprising since Stella Maris was in a different league. Either way, they felt that they won’t be able to beat them.

Mana shares the good news of KiRaRe making it to the next round.

Thankfully, Mana thinks otherwise and thinks that she can catch up with her older sister. This shows how much Mana has changed and grown since transferring. I think she couldn’t do it without her friends. Not only that, KiRaRe might have the same amount of potential as Stella Maris. With the strong bonds between the obvious pairings in the group, I think they can make it happen.

Besides Sayu and Kae owning Sango the other best part was Midore pumping herself up near the end. So good!

Yes, seeing Sayu and Kae tell Sango off was good. I guess Midori will make them practice even more now that they made it to the next round for sure.
