It’s obvious that Mao is enjoying her new normal life. However, there is an existential threat that will derail it once and for all. Yes, it’s Princess Rona.
I knew that this day will eventually come, but Mao didn’t expect it. Apparently, Yulia and her friends manages to complete an advanced quest. While Mao didn’t believe it initially, Rona had a recording. She shows the contents of the recording from the legendary Cartado card. In other words, Mao have to give Yulia and her friends something in return instead of giving them a hero quest. In other words, she allowed them to visit her house.
As expected, Mao’s house got dirty again. It’s not surprising given her personality. She is just as bad as Seria as well. With that, Seria just like Mao is left out while Fai, Yulia and Mei do the cleaning and possibly the cooking. However, Mao wants to cook a meal instead and of course, it doesn’t turn out well despite looking edible. Not only she manages to make Yulia’s and her friends’ stomach upset, she tried to feed some to Chibi. It doesn’t end well since she vomits everything that was from her stomach. This includes that evil sea lord from several episodes ago.
What really freaked Mao out is her golem maid, which Yulia names as Meigo. If you recall from an earlier episode, Meigo served Mao when she was the demon lord. Thankfully, Meigo doesn’t have any recollection of what happened before Mao, Yulia and her friends got sent back in time.
Sure, the maid was a nuisance as Mao fears that the maid will regain her memories. Sadly, Rona tries to restore the maid’s memories, but instead, it restores Yulia’s and her friends’ memories. Believe it or not, they finally realize what happened before they went back in time.
Now Mao is in big trouble. Since Yulia and her friends know that they botched up the spell, they will seek out and defeat the Demon Lord again. What really got Mao off the edge is Rona taking the golem maid. She felt that Rona taking her maid away will hurt her pride. Without realizing, she transforms into the Demon Lord, kidnaps the maid and Rona and take them to her lair. When she got there, Mao realizes that she made a big mistake by blowing her cover.
It’s obvious that Yulia and her friends are going to try to save Princess Rona and defeat the Demon Lord again. I guess Mao will never be able to return to life as a normal girl ever again now that her days are numbered. That is, unless she can convince Yulia and her friends that she is not the Demon Lord. Even so, Rona already knows and probably want Yulia to defeat Mao. After all, she is recording everything to write a story about Yulia being a different legendary hero. Regardless, the next and last episode should be fun. ¶
