Uchi no Maid ga Uzasugiru – Episode 1 – Tsubame’s Dream Job Becomes True

October 7, 2018 by Chikorita157 4 Comments
Given how cute Misha is, Tsubame’s reaction doesn’t come at a surprise.

If you thought that Satou’s obsession for Shio wasn’t enough, there is another woman who is fixated on a particular girl.

A woman named Komoi Tsubame was an active member of the Japan Self-Defense Force, particularly the air force division. While piloting a plane, she saw a cute girl. A year and few months later, she saw the blonde hair girl playing with her mother in the snow. After witnessing how cute the girl is, Tsubame passes out in the snow.

A year and seven months have passed and she decided to quit her current job. She is looking for a job, specifically looking after a young blonde-haired girl. However, she wasn’t able to find it, until she saw a posting outside. To make sure it’s the girl she saw, she climbed up a pole to see if it’s the girl she is looking for. She saw it’s the same girl she saw almost two years ago. The girl, named Misha ran out of her bedroom to tell her father. He couldn’t find her after he went into her bedroom.

Tsubame decides to take the job as being the family maid despite Misha being against it. Misha tried her best to drive Tsubame away, but fails since Tsubame is strong. With that, Tsubame tries to become friends with Misha no matter she likes it or not.

Instantly, Misha’s cute appearance was too much for Tsubame.
Believe it or not, she rejects this girl’s confession just to be with Misha.

As expected, Tsubame obsesses over Misha. Sure, Happy Sugar Life from last season had ayandere female main character as a lolicon. Tsubame can somewhat be seen as the same way. The difference is that she obsesses over Misha mostly because she finds her adorable rather than wanting to falling in love with her. This is the reason she wants to get along with her so badly. After all, she rejected a girl who confessed to her during high school since it doesn’t fit her preferences. Sure, people will find this creepy, but it will never be at the same level as Satou.

Tsubame’s ideal reaction to dressing Misha in cute clothing.
In reality, Misha is a trickster.
Of course, Tsubame is not deterred by it.
This is not surprising since Tsubame has muscles, lots of them.
Misha becoming excited over the possibility of receiving incriminating photos that can get Tsubame fired.
Sadly, Tsubame saw through it.

From the looks of it, Misha is a tsundere and a trickster. I find it hilarious how she drives away each maid her father hires and even used fire in one instance. It’s funny how she tries to drive Tsubame away by dumping a bucket of mud water. Sadly, this trick didn’t work since Tsubame can see through it easily. This is not surprising since she has muscles, lots of them along with those abs. She even seen through Misha’s spying on her. I find it funny how she accomplishes this by tying her iPhone to her pet ferret and using FaceTime on her laptop to see what Tsubame is doing.

Looks like Misha fell into Tsubame’s trap.
I find it funny how she likes the food despite finding Tsubame annoying.

Even so, it seems that she doesn’t want to do nothing with Tsubame. Even when Tsubame brought curry up for lunch, she attempted to lure Misha out of the room. Yes, it eventually worked as she manages to lure Misha out of her bedroom. Sadly, she couldn’t get her eat at the table together. Still, seeing Misha’s reaction after finding out how delicious Tsubame’s cooking is and deny it shortly afterwards was hilarious.

It looks like there is no escaping for Misha. Resistance is futile.

With that, it looks like Tsubame isn’t going anywhere as she wants to get closer to Misha. The question is, will Misha defrost and start getting along with Tsubame? Or will she continue to resist despite knowing how capable and strong Tsubame is. Either way, it should be interesting how this plays out.

Not a show for everyone. Personally surprised it was easier to stomach than expected. Plus I got some good laughs from it. Tsubame’s the main reason I’m sticking around. Such a beautiful mistress of muscle.

Well definitely, like the case with Happy Sugar Life. Granted, this show isn’t as creepy as the former. Still, I think it’s a funny show and Misha might get along with Tsubame since she is a thunder after all and it’s only a matter of time until she defrosts.

Yeah. Pretty sure Misha will eventually warm up to the mistress of muscle.
