Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card-hen – Episode 8 – More Clues Behind Sakura’s Clock Dream Revealed

February 26, 2018 by Chikorita157 2 Comments
Tomoyo is excited to make a costume for Syaoran too.

At last, Sakura with Tomoyo pays a visit to Akiho’s house. While visiting, Akiho shows them a mysterious book. What is it?

At last, it seems that Tomoyo made progress in creating costumes. No, it’s not just for Sakura this time, but also for Syaoran. While the two eventually blush, is this an indication that they will both tag along next week to capture a card? Most likely.

Having a smartphone hanging off a tied ribbon isn’t a good idea.

Aside from that, on the way to school, Tomoyo and Sakura run into Akiho. Sakura saw Momo coming out of Akiho’s bag. It’s funny how Sakura takes out Kero while he suffers with the ribbon strangling him from the weight of the smart phone. Either way, Sakura tells Akiho that the house Akiho is currently living in was used by Eriol. Apparently, Akiho heard about the rumors. Thankfully, Sakura and Tomoyo didn’t leak too much information about Eriol and his actual location.

Sakura asks Syaoran on a date.

With that, Akiho invites Sakura and Tomoyo to a visit. While Syaoran won’t go since he is busy, Sakura is able to ask him on a date. This only means one thing, right? It’s obvious in next week’s episode preview.

Kaito’s pocket watch looks very similar to the clocks in Sakura’s dream.

After cheerleading practice, Sakura experiences the strange vision again. Thankfully, Sakura will find more hints behind it very soon. Aside from Akiho’s butler, Kaito who serves the girls cake and tea, something is strange about him. He had a pocket watch that looks similar to the clocks in Sakura’s dream. This is getting a bit suspicious.

Sakura’s reaction after she took a bite of the cake is priceless.
Of course, she becomes embarrassed.

Still, it’s funny how Sakura said something embarrassing after she took a bite into the cake. She even feeds Kero a piece and as expected, he likes it. Thankfully, Akiho didn’t notice something strange in Sakura’s bag.

As always, Tomoyo comes prepared.

Eventually, Akiho shows them the library. It seems that her family collected a lot of books. However, Sakura notices something strange, so Tomoyo distract Akiho. Sakura and Tomoyo eventually finds it. It’s apparently in the section of the shelf where the books and shelf appeared missing. However, there was matter behind it. Sakura was able to capture it, giving us the ninth clear card, Lucid. Apparently, the card can hide things in plan slight.

With Akiho bringing this book over, this makes me suspicious of her.

While there is not that much action involved in capturing this week’s card, at least Tomoyo have her smart phone to record it. That is not the exciting part as Akiho comes back with a book. This time, it seems strange as the cover looks like the clocks that Sakura saw in her dream. While Akiho can read the strange language inside it, this makes her suspicious. How can she get the gist of that book? She said that she doesn’t know many languages. Given the book shines after the girls leaves the library means that it will become important later on. To me, it’s a bit ominous.

Meanwhile, Nakuru wants to go back to Japan since she thinks Sakura is having trouble. Of course, Eriol won’t allow her and she have to wait. Meanwhile, Syaoran is seen working on his magic. With all this development happening, this makes me curious what will happen next.
