While the girls couldn’t save their school, they continue on. With that, they come to Hokkaido to see their rivals, Saint Snow at their regional competitions.
You might be wondering, why is the girls from Aqours are in a blizzard. Apparently, they received an invitation as special guests. The girls should come up with some ideas on how to do their performance from watching the competition. Either way, it seems that an idol group at the competition seems excited to see Aqours. Even one of the girls want an autograph and a photo. It really shows how far the girls got to get to this point.
With that, Chika and her friends come to visit Saint Snow. Sarah finally apologizes for their remarks made towards Aqours. She even makes a promise with them to make the finals an event that goes down in Love Live History. However, Ruby notices that Leah’s nervousness. She never mentions it in full until she talks to her older sister the next day.
After the performances, Chika and her friends witness a shocking turn of events. When the girls saw the result, Saint Snow didn’t make the top three. It seems that Leah and Sarah fell during their performance that causes them to land on the floor. It makes me wonder if this is related to Leah being numerous before she and her older sister performed.
During Aqour’s second day in Hakkaido, they decide to visit Sarah’s and Leah’s home town after sight-seeing. They went to a restaurant where those two girls are working. While the girls take their seat, Ruby came up to Leah’s bedroom, where she saw her crying over the performance. When Leah starts to work and the girls mention it, shebecomes upset. While Sarah says they have another chance, Leah wants to give up being a school idol.
It’s not surprising given that everyone faced a failure many times in his or her life. Given that she is a first-year student, Leah can simply try four more times to make it. However, she would have to do it without her older sister, which is most likely why she is upset. If she didn’t make it, she wants to give up. Her defeatist attitude over this doesn’t help her at all.
Given that Leah and Sarah are both sisters, there is no wonder why Ruby relates to her situation. While talking to her older sister about the situation, Dia mentions that her little sister wanting to become a school idol made her proud. With that, Ruby wants to do the same for Leah.
With that, she thinks about having her do a special performance. As you would expect when Ruby mentions her older sister, Leah boasts about her. It’s obvious that Leah loves her sister. Eventually, Leah agrees to do what Ruby offered. It makes me wonder how this will turn out. We’ll see next time.
Very shocking that Saint Snow were eliminated. Leah and Ruby sharing the same dream was wonderful…as was that amazing moment between the Perfect Sisters. Looking forward to the super special duet.
ZuraLax was bliss.
Yes, it’s very surprising, but it’s a good thing that it ended this way. If Saint Snow did pass their regionals, it would be too much as the originals with A-Rise facing Muse.
