Now that summer have come to a close, it’s time to take a look of what I plan to watch for the fall.
Love Live Sunshine Second Season
Studio: Sunrise
Air Date: October 7, 2017
While I enjoyed the first season of Love Live Sunshine, of course it had shortcomings that somewhat bothered me. The story felt too similar to the first season of the original series. It’s not surprising since Chika is trying to imitate Muse. Thankfully, she learns that imitating them is not a good idea when they received no votes. Hopefully, we will see them develop a unique group as they continue to compete in the idol competition.
Konohana Kitan
Studio: Lerche
Air Date: October 4, 2017
I have to admit that I enjoy seeing anime with animal ear people. This show focuses a hot springs hotel with cute fox girls. Given that this show has an all-female cast, it should be interesting to see all the potential pairings.
Blend S
Studio: A-1 Pictures
Air Date:October 7, 2017
From looking at the show summary, a girl named Maika gets a job at a maid cafe. Each waitress takes on an attribute. While there are three male characters, one of them is a idol crossdresser while the other two as cooks. Also, one of the cooks seems to have a strong passion for yuri from reading the Japanese Wikipedia page about the show. Given that the source material is published in Manga Time Kirara, I guess there will be some Yuri thrown into it.
With that, this is all the shows I am interested in watching so far. As always, the list is subject to change.
If you noticed, I have taken down my Patreon page since the campaign is not successful. My life situation unfortunately didn’t get any better or worse. With that, I decided to create a tip jar. This allows people to support this blog through a one-time donation. This will help me keep this blog online and of course obtain content to review like video games. As always, there will be no paywall. If you can’t contribute, consider white listing this website.
Video games wise, it’s busy with quite a few releases I preordered. This includes Atelier Lydie and Suelle, Little Witch Academia, Pokémon Ultra Sun/Ultra Moon and possibly Idolmaster Stella Stage. Of course, I still have a backlog of games. For the time being, I plan on completing the first run of Yoru no Nai Kuni 2 (Nights of Azure 2) before Pokémon Ultra Sun/Ultra Moon comes out. I will eventually finish Blue Reflection and New Game Challenge Stage afterwards. As usual, I will stream some of the gameplay over at Twitch.
With that, what shows are you planning to watch this fall? Feel free to share in the comments.
I too have all three shows on my schedule with BlendS being a curiosity for now. Dunno if I’ll cover it weekly. we’ll see what happens. The other two most definitely will get covered.
We’ll see how good it is very soon. But definitely excited for the other two shows for the Fall season.
