Now that Aquors is fully assembled, it’s time to prepare for the preliminaries. However, there is something that is bothering Riko for some reason.
From the looks of it, it seems that Dia is finally loosening up. Yep, she is enthusiastic about getting prepared for Love Live since it’s summer. Do you know what this means? This means that it’s time for a training camp. Thankfully, the girls don’t have to go that far for one since they are at the beach. They basically stayed at Chika’s place, which is an inn.
Still, it’s funny that the girls didn’t stick to Dia’s training regimen or rather, the one that Muse used. Sadly, it seems that the girls didn’t do much training, but instead spent time relaxing and playing in the ocean. In short, they trained in the evening. It’s mostly because, Dia wants to prop up the snack bar. Is this the Dia that she was holding back? Yes, and she finally let it out now that Kanan and Mari joined. At last, she is shining brightly.
While it’s expected that their snack bar will do poorly, I am surprised how good of a cook You is. She managed to sell out her noodle dish. As for Mari and Yoshiko, it seems that they made food that nobody wants to buy. I have to admit that what Mari tried to cook looked scary. As for Yoshiko, when Ruby tried it, her face turned red from the spice. Somehow, You made it taste delicious, which is surprising. It just shows that one shouldn’t trust Yoshiko and Mari when it comes to cooking.
Aside from the comedy and the girls exhausting themselves with the training in the evening, Riko is hiding something. She got a message about a piano competition and decided to delete the message. Eventually, Chika found out about that the piano competition is on the same day of the Love Live preliminaries. In short, she talked to her about it.
It seems that Riko doesn’t want to do it because she is happy with being with her friends. However, Chika feels that Riko is holding her passion for piano back. The following night, she had her play her piece on the piano at school. After listening to her performance, Chika wants Riko to enter the piano competition.
This comes back to when Chika invited her to become a school idol. She said that Riko doesn’t have to give up piano to become a school idol. In short, Riko shouldn’t be give up her dream just because the competition is on the same day as preliminaries. There is always a way to make it happen. In short, she confirms this with a love confession. Yes, it’s true! Chika and Riko is now canon in a nice way. This makes me wonder how their relationship will develop from here. Also, I’m curious how Riko will do both. I guess time will tell.
I said it from the very beginning, Dia is a perfect idol, beauty, sister and human being. Now everyone can see what I’ve been saying all along is true. Yohane comes in a close second. She’s greatness incarnate but she falls just a wee bit short from being perfect like Dia.
ChikaRiko being canon was a very welcome surprise. We all knew they were meant to be but never expected either one to utter those magic words we hope so many girls who are clearly meant to fall in love to be uttered…but they were. Now the big question is how will You respond?
Oh and KanaMari continue being sweet and sexy together.
I do think Dia is enjoyable, it took a while to release the feelings that she was holding back. Aside from that, it makes me wonder how Riko will do both. Hopefully it does not mean Aqours ending up forfeiting right before the preliminaries like what happen to Muse in the first season. I think they will make it happen, somehow.
