It seems that Illya found out that Erica’s father, Darius has intruded on their base. From the looks of it, it seems that he will be difficult to beat.
From the looks of it, Erica cannot be trusted because Darius is her father. He is the one that is taking Miyu captive and torturing her to read her mind. Not only that, it seems that he is unbeatable. He can summon an unbreakable ice dome, withstand any attacks and immobilize his enemies. He is simply too powerful, even with Illya using the Saber card and her Excalibur against him.
The funny thing is that Tanaka out of all people can break through the barrier. Is this because of her being fired up to exterminate the Ainsworths. Perhaps since she is programmed to get rid of them for something they did? Either day, she called Darius a counterfeiter when he attempted to stab her. This makes it obvious that Darius is an imposter. It becomes obvious when he leaves with Erica.
Aside from that, it seems that Illya and her friends got handed a huge defeat. Not so surprising since the Ainsworths so far were too overpowered. Eventually, they will find a way to defeat them. As they say, giving up is not an opinion. It’s not like the Ainsworths are completely invincible, especially with Tanaka breaking Darius’s ice dome.
On the other hand, while Erica is adorable, it’s obvious that she is cunning. It’s clear that she wants Miyu to stay by her side forever. This means preventing Illya from saving Miyu. Given Erica’s incantation and Chloe finding out that Illya is completely missing means one thing. Yes, she turned Illya into a doll as seen in the preview. This makes me wonder if Erica is this world’s Illya based on the one from Fate/stay night. Won’t be surprised given how manipulative she is while trying to act like a proper lady. Either way, we’ll see what happens next time.
