Now that Illya and her friends was able to stop Gilgamesh, will they get the break they deserve? Not really.
At a glance, I thought things will be calm and peaceful now that Gilgamesh is gone. Sadly, it’s not the case as Rin and Luviagelita finds out that there is something odd happening at the crater. Yep, the mysterious trees disappeared and two mysterious girls came to kidnap Miyu while attacking the others. Since the trees don’t have leaves, the crater is obviously a portal to the parallel world. That parallel world is where Miyu came and escaped from.
From the looks of it, it seems that Illya was confused when she woke up. It’s already obvious that she is in a different dimension since it’s snowing. Basically, the town is deserted with a crater in the middle. Illya meets a girl named Tanaka who lost her memories. She only knows that she is on a mission is to eliminate the Ainsworths. Perhaps the girls who are after Miyu were from the Ainsworths. Their names will get revealed soon enough.
Apparently, one of the girls found where they were hiding. With that, it makes me wonder how Illya will defend herself since she is powerless. Will she be able to escape? Either way, we’ll learn more about the alternate world Illya is in next time. Perhaps we will learn more about Miyu in the process.
With this season being more plot-centered from the looks of it I’m interested in seeing what they’ll do. I want to see more of the Gil armored woman.
I suppose we will see more of her in the next few episodes when Illya tries to save Miyu. Still, it will be interesting to learn more about Miyu and why they are going after her.
