Anime Weekly – Summer 2015 – Week 8– Working!!! Episode 8 and Prisma Illya 2wei Herz Episode 5 and Site Updates

August 22, 2015 by Chikorita157 Leave a Comment

c52e24a5a40164d789e2dad4c283e25dYep, it’s the summer festival episode and as usual, Luvia and Rin are at it again.

Site Updates

I have been feeling really down about my blog lately for the fact that Google continues to punish my website thanks to Google Panda from last October as the traffic continues to decline. This week alone, it declined 20%, which is absolutely ridiculous. To me, I feel that most of my effort is being wasted with a drop this big and believe me, I already got rid of/unindexed low quality content, bulk of it being from 2009 and the first half of 2010. It seems that Google is never satisfied.

Although the traffic is dropping like a rock thanks to them, the interactions such as likes and comments are actually growing at a faster rate than last year. With it, I think it’s time to focus my efforts to increase traffic by participating a bit more on social networking and engagement instead of relying solely on search. Hopefully, a good chunk of the traffic will return.

With that, I will be sharing a bit more Anime or Japanese video game tweets, although I only do a few Meta updates once in a while. Also, I encourage people to ask me questions since nobody asks me any :(. These questions will help me gain new editorial topics since I’m running out of ideas to write about. Also, I encourage everyone to participate in the open forum as well. As always, I will be responding to comments on other blogs if I find a particular post interesting.

Also, I do plan to go back to New Jersey at least two more times (Labor Day weekend and September 13-14) until late October or November, so expect the weekend posts to be a bit late (it takes about 3 hours to drive back).

With that, it is time to focus on the Anime for this week.

Fate/Kaleid Liner Prisma Illya 2wei Herz – Episode 5

At last, Kuro shows off her projection magecraft.
At last, Kuro shows off her projection magecraft.

I have a feeling that Herz is feeling more like the second season of Nisekoi or Carnival Phantasm because the focus on short stories and comedy with less emphasis on the plot regarding the 8th card. This time, Illya, Miyu, Kuro and her friends go to a summer festival dressed in yukatas.

I find it funny that Miyu questions the prices of cotton candy awhile Kuro tried to use projection to figure out a rigged festival game that Bezett trying to trick Illya and the others into playing. At one point, Illya’s yukata became undone and her reaction to it was funny. Makes me wonder if someone intentionally made that happen.

I just can't get enough of Rin and Luvia fighting each other.
I just can’t get enough of Rin and Luvia fighting each other.

Aside from that, I can’t get enough of Luvia and Rin pulling pranks on each other. It’s hilarious that Luvia was that gullible into thinking that Yukatas are meant to be worn without underwear. Of course, Luvia did some payback to Rin to make Shirou think she wet herself by stuffing a water balloon into her yukata and popping it.

Working!!! – Episode 8

Aoi seems to be anxious about wanting her mom to answer the message she just sent.
Aoi seems to be anxious about wanting her mom to answer the message she just sent.

At last, Aoi finally made up with her mom. Aside from things returning to normal, it’s funny that it took Aoi weeks to get a cellphone and her mom’s phone number/email. Even with her email, Aoi sent her a message and all she got back is a blank one. It makes me wonder if her stoic personality also applies to electronic communication too. It seems like it.

Ironically, Shouta is more violent than Inami now.
Ironically, Shouta is more violent than Inami now with his punches.

Aside from that, it looks that the two relationships are moving along fine. It seems that Yachiyo and Satou are getting closer as he gives her not one, but four presents, one for each year! I guess he accumulated the presents until the time came. Still, it’s something odd that most couples won’t do. On the other hand, it seems that Souta feelings for Inami is becoming very apparent as he becomes overly protective of her to the point where he punches Kirio. I guess he really doesn’t like him, aside from Souma of course.

Last Week’s Anime Power Rankings

  1. Idolmaster Cinderella Girls – Episode 18
  2. Charlotte – Episode 6
  3. Prisima Illya 2wei Herz – Episode 4
  4. Working!!! – Episode 6
