With a new school year starting, Rikka finds herself living with Yuuta?
While it’s nice to finally have this show back as we get reintroduced to all the characters, I wonder what happened to Shinka’s hair? It seems that she is trying to make a new image for herself in order escape her former middle-school self. Like always, it ends up being a complete failure. She basically takes Sanae’s bait, which in turn reveals her own true colors. Still, the rivalry between the two is still hilarious to look at and I’m curious what shenanigans will they do this time.
On the other hand, Rikka’s older sister suddenly appearing was surprising for the fact that she already moved to Italy. Even so, the battle was hilarious for the fact that she is still overpowered and manages to beat everyone without any trouble. The funny thing about the whole battle is that Kumin joins in and gets instantly knocked out in one hit. I kind of felt bad for her, especially for the fact that she gets hit several times afterwards.
As a whole, the first episode of the sequel was simply enjoyable. While Yuuta has to put up with Rikka I wonder who is the newcomer that took her apartment. Probably it is the rose-colored hair girl that everyone was talking about. I guess we’ll find out in the next episode when she appears as a mysterious transfer student. I can’t wait.
This is a promising series indeed, let’s hope they’ll do a nice job with the romantic trouble that Yuuta is going to experience. 😀
I am looking forward to that and perhaps we get to see some kind of love triangle if the new girl happens to have a liking for Yuuta too.
I like black haired women more than brunettes anyway. Compared to DMC: Devil May Cry’s Dante, this new look hasn’t affected Shinka’s sexiness at all. Foolish mortals and their fear of change.
I admit that her new looks, especially in the Miko outfit looks pretty good although, I have a feeling that she will eventually go back to her former hairstyle and the clips.
