With the 2012 election finally over and now dealing with another power outage (Blame PSEG for their incompetence), I suppose I will focus on the remaining shorts from Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai Lite. (Image Source)
Episode 4 – Rikka tries to Cook, but fails
I was kind of disappointed that she didn’t actually cook the stew, but she certainly knew what ingredients she needs to buy. I guess Yumeha have to wait until she gets to learn how to become a good wife. Still, it’s quite amazing how she has the same sparkling eyes that Eru has when she is curious.
Episode 5 – Kumin Introduces the Club
Nothing new here, except Kumin introducing the club members and her love for sleeping. It makes me wonder if she gets a headache from all those naps.
Episode 6 – Water Balloon Fight! Shinka vs Sanae
It seems that Shinka haven’t gotten over her defeat in Episode 4, so she takes things physically. This is probably the most exciting episode with Sanae throwing two water balloons in different instances that got Shinka wet. However, Shinka throwing the big one and popping it on Sanae almost made it seem like she won. In reality, it’s a tie. This makes me wonder if they will ever get along with each other at this rate.
Final Thoughts
While it’s odd to have an opening/ending theme for something short like this, these shorts are rather entertaining while giving extra character development for the cast.
Since this is supplementary material that will come with the Blu-rays, no score will be given.
