Norie faces a fierce desert making competition against Komachi over winning Kou’s heart. Who is going to win? You just have to wait and see…
It’s clear that Norie has huge liking for Fuu’s younger brother, Kou because of his cuteness. Unfortunately, this causes Komachi, one of Kou’s classmates to become very jealous of her for wanting to take him away. From this, it’s apparent that she may have romantic feelings for him or that they are best friends. I just felt that she jumped the gun too soon since she doesn’t know Norie at all. Thankfully, she warms up to her once Kou judged the deserts.
When the two girls raced to make the best desert possible, it reminded me of a special past time back when I was a child. During my childhood when my grandmother was a lot healthier, we used to bake deserts together. We had fun making various cookies and pies. In the same way, Komachi learned how to make pancakes with the help of Fuu’s grandmother. Although she messed up the first time, the second try gave her a sense of happiness and heartwarming feeling. At the same time, Norie made a sweet peach jelly that Kou also liked along with the pancakes. It was simply nice to see that Norie had grown an interest for making sweets through the help of her older brother.
In the end, the deserts were the real winner and nobody lost. Hopefully from this, Norie and Komachi can become friends and share the happiness of making deserts they love.
I don’t think Komachi has anything to worry about, she has Kou locked up, whether he knows it or not…
