Poor Yachiyo… Something must have happened to make her feel so depressed.
For a while now, we always wondered about the whereabouts of Otoo’s wife. Now, she finally gets revealed when Yachiyo sees her coming out of a manhole. When Haruna, Otoo’s wife came up from the whole and asked for directions to a park, it reminded me of Miura Azusa’s poor sense of direction. Sadly, Haruna has it a lot worse considering the time she spent wandering around in the sewers. It makes me wonder, how she managed to keep a clean appearance while being down there? I can only imagine.
Sadly, Kyouko prevents Yachiyo from doing the right thing and bring her back to Otoo. It’s obvious that she still wants her lost so she can continue to receive souvenirs from him. Because of her selfish reasons, she shoves Yachiyo into her breasts to stop her from saying it. This inevitably leaves a sense of guilt on Yachiyo once Haruna left, causing her to become disheartened. This isn’t made any easier as Jun’s crush on her gets revealed, which troubles Inami. Thankfully he cheers Yachiyo up and gave her the courage to tell the truth to Otoo about his wife. It worked out in the end and now he needs to sort out the adoption issues for Yamada.
This episode was really fun and it’s great that Inami finally got more screen time. Her tearing up over Jun and Souta asking her what person she liked was humorous. Underneath it all, her androphobia wasn’t that apparent from the lack of punching. This means that she’s making an effort. Aside from that, I’m surprised how Kyouko managed to eat all those parfaits and wiped out the supply of whip cream in one scoop. To go along with that, Souta’s vision of mini Kyoukos devouring all the food was really cute. Either way, I just hope that Haruna finally manages to find Otoo someday so they can become a happy family. ¶
