Since it’s the midpoint of the season, I would like to share my overall thoughts on what I have seen. This midseason impressions post should give you a good idea on what score I will ultimately give the show as the season finishes. 1
MM!
This show in my opinion is very enjoyable with the numerous, wacky failed attempts to cure Taro’s masochism. The treatments include Mio going on a date with him, performing a spell on him with candles, army training and putting crabs on him. Sadly, I have to say that they are just giving him what he wants rather than healing it.
In the last 5 episodes, we are introduced to Yumi (Yuuno’s friend) and Noa, which add more to the chaos. In addition, there was a lot character development happening in those episodes. Most of these episodes focused on Yuuno and Taro with their pursuit to cure her Androphobia. Needless to say, I still enjoy the show.

Ore no Imouto
This show seemed to stir a lot of controversy among some of the Anime bloggers and proclaimed haters alike. The show still tackles some of the otaku issues with Kirino’s hobby. In a way, it relates to incidents real life, especially with her friend Ayase who seems to hate her visual novel playing. This reminded me of the Rapelay incident that happened last year.
Oddly, the blogosphere went gaga over the fanservice, especially in the forth episode. So far, five out of the six moments only have brief moments of fanservice (like a few seconds) and it never gets shown again after it happens. I don’t see what is the big deal about it since its so insignificant.
So far, this show is pretty good considering that Nogizaka Haruka Purezza was a piece of crap. From the looks of it, they are still pulling the incest string, but never actually pull it all the way. Then again, you will never know…

Shinryaku! Ika Musume
This show is still a fun and enjoyable comedy with everyone abusing Ika even though the jokes can sometimes be cheesy. Also, mini Ika owns!
Additionally, the opening theme, Shinryaku no Susume is so addictive that it’s not even funny… and cute too. I have already played it several times after I added it to my playlist.

Otome Youkai Zakuro
Zakuro has one of the most interesting stories in this season. The stories surrounding the fox girls were interesting and at the same time, sad. Regardless, the girls remain strong, especially tsundere Zakuro who seems to beat on Kei so many times. Furthermore, her hate for western things like milk, cookies and dresses cracks me up.
Also, this show seems to be violent. The violence mostly consists of Zakuro’s badass moments where she defeats the upset spirits and destroys buildings. If you look past of that, it’s a great show to watch as long JC Staff doesn’t mess it up.

Tantei Opera Milky Holmes
Ironically, this show has a lot of character driven comedy that it causes diabetes. The comedy mostly consists of Cordelia being locked in a coffin with Twenty, the Twenty pillow, loli hating bears, sadist Sherlock in a nekomimi meido outfit and of course, Princess Claris’s use of π. The comedy is what makes the show so hilarious that I laugh my butt off in every episode I watched. Moreover, the girls are so cute that it’s not even funny. The cutest girls from the whole cast are Cordelia, Elly (Hercule), Sherlock and of course the twin tailed tsundere, Kokoro. From what I have seen, this show has got to be a parody of all the moe anime out there.
Needless to say, Milky Holmes is playing with my expectations with its hilarious moments they throw at me. Hopefully the next 6 episodes continue with the unexpected comedy.
