I neglected Ika-chan since I was so occupied with Zakuro. Also, my main laptop, Fujibayashi Kyou broke while I was at college. Since I got a replacement last night, I decided to watch the two episodes I have left sitting.

In the last episode, Ayase ran into Kirino when the crew heads home from the Summer Comiket. Unfortunately, Ayase feels a bit concerned about Kirino from a feeling that Kirino was hiding something from her. It ultimately opens the Pandora’s box of trouble that causes their friendship to break apart temporarily.

When you have an Anime that has masochism written all over it, you can expect that the songs would be a masochistic experience…
From listening to the songs, Taketatsu Ayana is a really bad singer. This makes Hirano Aya’s and Toyosaki Aki’s singing sound 2x better! It’s like mixing two of the horrible pop singers (Lady Gaga and Katy Perry) and have a song that is a pile of crap.
Then again, it was not horrible enough to make the song unlistenable. It had some redeeming factors if you take out the vocals. I think this single could be considered as “So Bad Its Good.” Yes, the singing from Ayana is horrible and the electronica is out of place in the second track, but it was slightly enjoyable as receiving pleasure from masochism. I just can’t take my eyes off of it unlike Sae’s Ending from Amagami SS, which had nothing redeemable whatsoever.
So, enjoy this masochistic review of this single… and it’s just in time for Halloween! I will probably make another review on “Moon Signal” in a few weeks.

Well, this is probably the wackiest episode I ever seen since it has parodies of other anime, and perverted men and girls. It also has an extremely smart, cute loli girl who develops a machine that turns people into perverts FOR SCIENCE!

Well it’s a new arc and the focus is now on Rihoko for whom she is a very unlucky childhood friend of Junichi. Unfortunately, Rihoko’s love towards Junichi seems to be unrequited even though they are best friends. I wonder why?

Like the last episode of Otome Youkai Zakuro, this episode focuses mainly on Susukihotaru and Riken over the investigation of the dubious sword obtained by a shopkeeper. The sword has some significance in revealing Susukihotaru’s hidden power inside of her that allows the revealing of a person’s select memories from objects.

It has been awhile since I watched Amagami SS. The reason I fell behind because I was busy with the fall anime. This is why I did not focus on writing about Nanasaki Ai’s arc in great detail, as I originally wanted to. Since I have some free time today, I took the time to finish it. After I finished the remaining two episodes in her arc, I was very disappointed for reasons I am going to explain. [1. Original Image]

Since I have dropped Yosuga no Sora because it was too provocative for my tastes, I was able to pick up another show to fill the emptiness. Aorii from Major Arcana suggested that I should watch Otome Youkai Zakuro, which is a fantasy and alternative history kind of show. To be frank, I have read her editorial on it and I found the show rather interesting, so I decided to try it out myself…
