Since the winter season for this year doesn’t have much to cover, I went to the backlog. While the second season of Yuuki Yuuna is two different stories, the first half focuses on Washio Sumi wa Yuusha De Aru. It’s a three-part movie in 6 episodes, so that the content will be the same.

You might be wondering, is this a sequel? Yes, and it provides some details as to why Mimori lost her memories. Also, who is that bandaged girl in the hospital that the Taisha worships as a goddess? We get to find that out soon.

I have to admit, I’m a fan of magical girl shows. While I hadn’t watched Yuki Yuuna when it first came out, it eventually came on my radar. Besides not having much to watch this season, there is a port of the mobile game coming on the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. Since I heard some good things about this show. With that, I decided to check it out.

Yuki Yuna wa Yusha de Aru – Episodes 1-4 – First Impressions

Of course, this show is much more than just your typical CGDCT anime.

Since there is not much airing this summer, it’s apparent that I’m going through my backlog. This time, I decided to watch Yuki Yuna wa Yusha de Aru, w magical girl warrior show with slice-of-life moments, at least in the first season.

The show gets darker, especially in the later seasons. Enjoy the happy moments while they last. It gets darker in the second half. Thankfully, we are only covering brief thoughts about the first four episodes. Basically, the introduction to the whole team, the meaning of the Hero Club and what the girls are fighting.
