Today is the day before Christmas and to celebrate it, I’m looking back at the reminder of the moments in this year’s Anime that made it awesome. This includes Croisee, Ano Hana, Fate/zero, Idolmaster, Hourou Musuko and Madoka Magica.

With the start of the 21st century, the so-called Iyashikei genre became popularized, especially with Aria through its gorgeous scenery, focus on friendship, and lighthearted feeling. I tend to enjoy them as it melt the stress from life that gives you a good feeling.
Ikoku Meiro no Croisèe is just that, except it involves a really cute and young Japanese girl living in a foreign country like France. (Image Source)

We are finally at the end with Yune obsessing over cats once again. Underneath it all, there are some dramatic and heartwarming moments to resolve Claude’s concern for her.

Claude decides to go on a picnic with Yune and Oscar. This is where she starts recalling the sad memories of her older sister, Shione.

Oscar has some fun with Alice and Yune after finding some stuff in a storage room. At the same time, Claude departs to see an old client of his father’s.

Continuing Alice’s tea party with Yune, Claude becomes absorbed through his childhood memories with Camille.

After Yune is finally cured from her cold, Alice invites he and Claude to a tea party. While Yune and Alice tell each other’s fairy tales, Claude reminisces a few moments from their childhood when he was with Camille.

Believe it or not, summer is more than half way done. Although I haven’t watched much from the summer lineup since I went on a two-week vacation late last month, the shows that I watched were very enjoyable. Out of the show from this season’s lineup, I have watched Ikoku Meiro no Croisèe and The iDOLM@STER along with two shows from last season. (Image Source)

After Yune spent a whole day taking pictures in cute dresses, it’s noticeable that she has caught a cold with a subtle sneeze from the last episode. Sadly, her cold worsened along with Claude being a big jerk eventually led to the inevitable.

Alice is finally back from a short break and now wants to take a photograph with Yune. Cue more endearing moments…

For a while now, Yune started to live in a shop at the gallery after becoming interested in France. Claude now wishes that she was more free and spend more time outside. In her efforts, it goes south as she gets into some trouble.

Our fears have finally come true. Alice wants to take Yune home… forever! Not really, but it’s something like that.

It appears that Yune is still getting used to France. At the same time, Claude learns more about Japan and its culture, which influences him to make another sign based on it.

Since Yune’s arrival to her new home, she finally starts to adjust to the different customs and explore some parts of Paris with Claude.

It’s finally start of the Summer 2011 Anime Season and thus I take a look at the first and last of the summer shows I possibly be watching. That show is Ikoku Meiro no Croisèe and as you expected already, it’s full of cuteness…
