It’s been a while since I wrote about that social network, Twitter, which is melting slowly. Since the last PSA, Twitter has disabled all third-party clients and now charging for the API (Application Programming Interface) used in many WordPress blog post sharing and Twitter to Mastodon Autoposter.
This Twitter API rug pull can impact most, if now all, Anime Bloggers that use automated tools. On February 9th, apps will stop working unless the application owner pays for access to Twitter’s API. Things like Jetpack Social (for Twitter), Twitter sharing plugins, or WordPress and Twitter to Mastodon auto post tools will stop functioning. This is because the developers are very unlikely to pay for access to the Twitter API, as the monthly cost will likely be high. With Twitter’s future in question, I don’t think too many will pay for access unless they really need it.
With that, it’s time to consider leaving Twitter and using alternatives like Mastodon. I have stressed this several times. Twitter will never be the same, especially now, with adverse changes such as banning third-party clients and charging for API access while boosting extremist accounts.

Recently, there has been news about Ayakashi Triangle getting delayed due to Aniplex’s mismanagement. I wanted to share my brief impressions of the series. Sure, Aniplex screwed up the production with the indefinite delay and blamed it on Covid19. It’s something I will focus on later on. Besides that, this one of those male-to-female gender-bender shows, Oniichan wa Oshimai being the second a bit more controversial to some reviewers.

It’s coming to a 1-month mark of finally leaving the dumpster fire known as Twitter. But, of course, interacting with other anime bloggers has been a challenging aspect through the transition. I still struggle to receive comments compared to other bloggers, as seen in the last four posts, although others have it even worse.
With Twitter possibly becoming a worse place and even perhaps becoming Myspace or shut down entirely in the future, what will life be for Anime fans without Twitter? Sure, people mention Mastodon as an alternative to Twitter, but aren’t people forgetting about Anime Blogging?
You might think people should also start anime blogs and revive the medium since there is a community there too. I will share some thoughts about the state of the anime blogging community and why you should get involved. Also, I share some ideas on how to revive the community.

While I haven’t finished the first season of D4DJ since I only watched two episodes. Still, it’s probably not entirely required. I can still watch the second season since it focuses primarily on Lyrical Lily. But, as the name implies, will it live up to the potential yuri aspect?
From my knowledge, the first season focused on Happy Around, Peaky P-Key, and Photon Maiden. I’m missing a bit, but I will probably catch up soon. The other two, Merm4id and RONDO, are in the OVA episode, which I will probably cover later this week. For now, I’m going primarily blind.
