As Claire and Rae face off against a Chimera that got summoned. Can they join forces and defeat it? Also, what will Lampert and Lene’s fate be, given what they have done?
Of course, we see Rae and Claire carry out their plan to defeat the Chimera. Rae had the Chimera chase after her while Claire charged her attack. At the right moment, they landed the attacks at the right spots to defeat it. It’s nice to see Rae and Claire give a high five at this great moment.
As expected, it was impressive. However, when that masked man came to try to kill Claire, Thane came in to protect her despite sacrificing his hair. Of course, the masked man had a surprise up his sleeves as he poisoned him with a new type. Thankfully, Rae swooped in to cure Thane before it was too late. Of course, Lampert and Lene get taken away, and Claire sees it. Either way, the Commoner’s Movement was a flop, and obviously, the Nur Empire has something to do with it. Of course, Claire and Rae get summoned to the royal palace for a special meeting. Of course, Rae and Claire ask the king to let Lene and Lampert off, but they say they aren’t sure about pardoning them. After all, they committed treason despite their family’s contribution. Eventually, Thane came in and convinced his father to reduce the punishment. He ultimately did by exiling Lene and Lampert.
As expected, we see Lene and Lampert getting exiled. Rae and Claire did say their goodbyes to Lene as Rae gave Lene her secret recipes. I guess this is what Rae intended to have those recipes come to mind here. Sadly, Claire seems sad by this and holds back her tears as the maid she had for a long time, whom she is very close to, is finally leaving. While she didn’t want a hug, Rae hugged her anyway because she felt Claire needed it as she cried. But it shows that Rae has gone a long way to defrost Claire. Of course, there is a rival on the horizon. Who was Claire’s first love? Rae is about to become jealous.
