It’s that time of year again and since the AniBlog Tourney is coming up, I want to get some feedback from the readers. Compared to the survey from last year, I’m doing it a bit differently since it’s more open-ended. Therefore, it would be helpful if you specify what are my strengths and things I should improve on in terms of content through constructive criticism. In addition, I’m open to posting other content besides the usual posts (editorials/reviews/episodics) as long it related to Anime, Manga and Visual Novels (Anime of Games are also fine). So, be aware of that question since it might be interesting to see how will it turn out. I might implement them depending on the feasibility and my capabilities.
So, further ado… take the Reader Survey and be honest with your answers. It will close on March 20th (two weeks from now) and I will share the results afterwards with some analysis.

In the last two weeks, I have mentioned about having to put Milky Holmes Second Season on hiatus due to lack of subs with the stream being two episodes behind. Since niconico has finally caught up a bit more and gave us Episode 5, it’s even crazier than what happened in the last episode.

In this week’s editorial, I decided to take up a topic in the blogosphere that is relatively important with any Anime fan: “How does one fits time to watch shows while juggling with college or work?” Given that I have managed to survive three years and made over 830 posts about Anime, you wonder how the hell I manage that when college gives you a lot of work to do. It feels like yesterday since I started blogging back in 2009 during my freshman year of college. Since then, the overall anime blogosphere landscape changed a lot since then. I saw some bloggers quitting/going on an endless hiatus along with others starting new blogs replacing the dead ones. If you notice the lack of weekly Anime Digests, it’s mostly because I didn’t have much to say for the past two weeks. Therefore, I’m won’t be doing them until the spring season. For now, the focus is now on the midseason impressions for the current season.
Compared to last year, this year has been pretty underwhelming season considering that we had two great shows (Madoka Magica and Hourou Musuko), which you may already have fresh in your mind. I have to admit that while the first season of Working had some flaws, it was one of the most enjoyable comedies because every worker had a quirk that contributed to it. With the second season completed back in December, it improved a lot while showing more of what I liked about the whole show. (Image Source)

Like Anime, video games had played a big role in my life after I was introduced to it during my childhood. After some thought, I felt the need to share my experiences with video games and how it influenced me to watch Anime since these two mediums are closely related to each other. Despite finishing the grammar in the first book, I have to admit that I fell behind because I played too much Idolmaster 2 instead of studying Japanese. Since the spring semester started about three weeks ago, I’m playing catch up and hopefully I can cover lost ground. Either way, this self-study progress will only focus on the short/casual forms.
