After Flum manages to defeat a terribly messed-up werewolf and gets a strong weapon and money out of it, she decides to buy new clothes, even for Milkit.

At the beginning of the episode, we see Flum finally giving Milkit a complete makeover. Eventually, her final appearance made her look like a maid. Of course, she doesn’t have much self-confidence, but it’s evident that Flum wants her do stuff like cooking and such while Flum focuses on other things like doing quests and fighting monsters. Of course, her goal is to make Milkit happy.

That said, a man passed by and kind of shoved her, saying to get out of the way and treating them like trash. The funny thing is that the man received karma when two thieves pushed him. That is why Flum chased after those two thieves to recover the stolen bag. That is why I saw a blonde-haired girl chasing one of the thieves. Eventually, Flum twisted one of the thieves arm and dragged him.

The blonde-haired girl captured the other one and thanked Flum. Her name is Sara Anvilen, a nun who works for the Church of Origin. The man eventually thanks him, then offers Flum a quest. Somehow, the man heard Flum’s name before, but of course, she denies it. Thankfully, Flum suggested that Sara have those guys put away, and she took that advice. The knights took them out of jail, and it’s obvious where they came from. Still, as we find out, these thieves came from the guild, and when they found it, they wanted revenge.
As for the man’s request, he wants Flum to get some herbs to help cure his wife. Apparently, the Church probably banned medical treatments and forced anyone with an illness to get treated by priests and nuns. That means that people are at the mercy of the Church. The man thinks a particular flower may be able to treat the illness. However, since things like medicine and herbs are banned, they might get Flum into trouble. Then again, given how the sage basically dumped her and sold her off to slavery, she has nothing to lose.
Sara, of course, did the same because she felt it was her duty to help the person in need, no matter what. She looks up to Maria, who also works at a church. Flum recognizes that name, which makes her feel down about a bad memory and keeps her from eating dinner that night.

Milkit checked on Flum, and she basically told her that remembering her name triggered bad memories, as she also said to the other members of the team. Gadhio taught Flum how to make use of the dead’s equipment, which she learned about cursed weapons. If only she knew that her affinity could make use of them, she wouldn’t get into a situation like this. From these flashbacks, Eterna learns that the Church controls all medicine, herb supplies, and knowledge, so everyone has to rely on them for treatment.

That said, we see Milkit, Sara, and Flum head to the destination where they can find the herb. Flum did point out that her affinity allows her to use cursed weapons as they reverse the effects. They stayed at a house, and it was cute to see Sara and Flum jump into bed, and for Flum to ask Milkit to try it. At the same time, Milkit doesn’t understand why, as she’s never done it; she at least learned why.

While Sara and Flum defeated an Ogre and got to the field of flowers to look for the flower they were looking for. Yes, those two perps from the guild plotted revenge against Sara and Flum by letting loose some rocks so that the exit gets blocked. That is why an Ogre with a distorted face came back to life. It comes with a nasty message for Flum, telling her to pay for her sins.

Remember the distorted Werewolf from last time? It seems that this Ogre knows and wants to commit revenge against Flum for killing the Werewolf. While Flum lost her leg for a moment, Sara learned that using her healing magic hurts Flum instead of helping. Also, Sara sees Flum regain her leg shortly afterwards. But they are stuck, as the only way out is to jump into the hole. I wonder if they can defeat it. Of course, the lady mentions that nobody made it out alive after visiting that garden. I wonder if they can defy that outcome next time.
Aside from that, there are other interesting things from the episode. We find out the hero’s party is falling apart. Funny how the demons decide not to kill the humans, only to eventually give up and escape. I guess without Flum around, it seems the sage is probably really living to regret throwing Flum out of the party.
What is also interesting to see is the mark on Sara’s back. We learn that the village Sara came from used to worship its own god. However, the Central Church raided her village, and well, anyone from the village got absorbed. It comes into question why the Church is sending parties to kill demons and the Demon Lord, probably for some nefarious reasons, perhaps.
