As Ayumu is still trying to find that locket after the party, she faces some more unfortunate situations. Also, at last, Ecchan finally tells Matsuri about something important.

As expected, Ayumu seems saddened that her locket is still missing. Yes, she doesn’t realize that it’s on sale for 100 yen at a shop. The funny thing is that she gets hit in the face by a good number of soccer balls. The soccer player apologizes, and Ayumu says it’s nothing. Eventually, she loses her patience and gets upset as it seems intentional.

It’s amusing how the soccer player attempts to apologize to her by offering chive leaves, which she claims are inedible, among other things, but it’s clear they are a bunch of idiots. Funny how she eventually puts herself on a catapult after she tries to ask them about that locket, before she became embarrassed. After all, we know the contents of the locket.

Also, there is a funny segment where Riko is seen sleeping during an exam. She eventually wakes up and, of course, while the teacher is not paying attention, figures out a way to help her. Eventually, she starts doing the test until time is up. The funny thing is that the teacher knew what happened and forced the whole class to do a makeup exam. There goes the summer break.

There is, of course, Todoroki unable to figure out the mystery manuscript. Eventually, he found out that it was Wako who left it there and begged her to do a serialization. Of course, she refuses no matter what, even for money. When he brought out the tea, he almost got her to say yes. Of course, when she was told about serialization, she turned it down. Yep, she got them there.

Lastly, we finally get the segment we have been waiting for between Matsuri and Ecchan. Ecchan put a pumpkin on Matsuri as she finally told her that she would be saying goodbye in a few days. Funny how Matsuri acts like a pumpkin begging not to be harvested, before she entirely acts like a pumpkin with a human body. Eventually, Ecchan tries to take off the pumpkin from her head after telling that she is moving to England. Eventually, Matsuri took the pumpkin off her head, and it’s evident that she is crying. I guess it’s no wonder why Ecchan held off from telling her for so long.

Aside from that, while this episode seems a little more subdued compared to the amount of action from the last episode, it’s nice to see Ecchan finally rip off that band-aid. Also, it looks like Ayumu will not find her locket anytime soon. Also, that chaotic household from the first half, with their mother getting upset over her twin daughters fighting over eating each other’s food, is hilarious, along with getting the others to eat their breakfast.
