After Konoha had the experience of turning into a child with Satoko raising her, she is back to normal. However, some things about Konoha haven’t returned to her old self.
As Konoha recovers from that strange experience of turning into a child after accidentally drinking that apple juice that turned her into one. Satoko noticed that Konoha’s rankings have dropped, and they haven’t been doing any jobs late. It’s not too surprising since Konoha hasn’t been in the mental state of doing so, and she doesn’t seem motivated. She believes she can live on her savings.

The next day, we get a nice moment as Konoha gets a bit close to Satoko. Yes, she even embraces her, kisses Satoko on the cheeks, and wants to be fed by Satoko. She, of course, calls Satoko her mother. Yes, the effects of being turned into a child have Konoha feeling conflicted. While Satoko enjoys Konoha like this, she is getting a bit worried. She learns from Minato that Konoha may have had a lonely childhood. Thus, Konoha’s time with Satoko as a childhood replaces those memories, causing an imbalance.

With that, Konoha wants to go clothes shopping and spend time with Satoko. She wears that special outfit when going out. Satoko seemed excited to buy more outfits for Konoha, but she went ahead and bought them in the mall. Being all alone scares Konoha, as it evokes a memory of her crying alone as a child. It’s plausible that she probably lost her family, and the assassin organization adopted her.
A little girl confronts her and takes out a knife. Yep, she is part of the assassin’s organization, as the person in the dog costume warns her that she can receive punishment if she doesn’t do a job soon. Satoko came and wondered what happened as Konoha hugged her and cried. At the café, Konoha discovers that her strange behavior is due to her transformation into a child.

When Satoko says the current Konoha is cute, she gets upset and accuses her of messing with her whole personality. Satoko gets upset as she doesn’t know Konoha’s childhood. I admit that Konoha’s outburst is not called for, but she walks out and tells her that she will live alone for a while. Satoko is left with the bill.

Konoha eventually realized that she messed up and said mean things. Of course, she finds an assassin ninja dressed as a bunny girl. She attempts to kill her but couldn’t kill her. The bunny girl ninja managed to wound Konoha and thought she was a goner until Satoko came to rescue her. Yep, this left Konoha all beaten up, wearing an eye batch. Minato managed to fix and heal Konoha’s wound.

As to how Konoha defeated her? Well, she turned the bunny girl ninja’s outfit into leaves along with her weapons, meaning she became buck-naked as she ran away. In a way, Satoko is stronger than Konoha in her current state. However, when Konoha asks Minato if she can fix Satoko’s left eye and tooth, she refuses. Yep, she hates Satoko after turning her house into leaves.

That said, Konoha has no choice but to do that mission to prove herself or get disposed of. While it will be risky, and Marin and Satoko seem a bit worried, Konoha believes she can manage it. That is while paying Marin back to have her older sister fix Satoko.

While Konoha is away, Satoko wants to make herself a bit more useful, as in being able to fight back. Satoko came over to Kuro’s house to retrieve her unused weapons. I find it amusing how Kuro is targeted only a few times while Satoko is targeted many times. Somehow, she made it out thanks to Konoha killing the assassins who targeted Konoha. That said, Satoko continues to text Konoha, which, of course, interrupts her work.

From the looks of it, Konoha managed to pull off the last part of the challenge. However, when she tries to call Satoko, she won’t pick up. She accidentally flushed her phone down the toilet. Well, Konoha kind of lets her guard down when someone from behind tries to kill her. The question is, can she make it out alive? I guess we won’t find out until the finale.
