Now that Lilisa has decided to do a band with Otoha, it’s a matter of figuring out where to begin. Meanwhile, Alice tries to find some dirt to get rid of Lilisa, who took her father away.

At the beginning of the episode, Alice impresses the music teacher with her violin playing. However, when it comes to Lilisa, sure, it’s not a squeaky mess, but still not good enough, as her teacher scolds her. Lilisa’s performance only gets Alice even angrier because Alice’s father remarried Lilisa’s mother. As a result, she does not view Lilisa as legitimate. It goes so far as Alice wanting the maid to get rid of lilies because it reminds her of her step-sister, whom she hates.

Meanwhile, Lilisa kept trying to perfect the violin as her mother entered. It is scary that she had deadeyes asking her daughter if she lies violin more than guitar. She seems happy that her daughter is leaving all that stuff behind, including rock and guitar, so they can get the family to recognize them as equals. We know this goes in hand with Lilisa’s desire to become a Noble Maiden.

Lilisa decides to head to the clubhouse, but students who look up to her interrupt her. She excuses herself by saying that she is taking the long way to the library. Now, she has to study tanka after she got asked about it.

Otoha and Lilisa must look for a bassist and a keyboardist to have a full band. They tried to recruit through an app, but they had to limit it since they didn’t want anyone to join the band. Eventually, they received a gig to play as a substitute for a bassist and a drumist for a symphonic band, Red Familia. They see this as an opportunity to see what performing in public as a band is like.

Meanwhile, Alice finds a cat as she walks home. Yep, she becomes attracted to cats by how cute they are. Eventually, Alice fed it and ultimately went near that clubhouse. Alice thought she saw Lilisa playing a bass, which she believed Lilisa abandoned. Now, she wants to see up in person, hoping to use this as dirt against her and her mother.

The funny thing is that when she got to the music room, Lilisa was practicing violin with Otoha, who was playing the piano. Yep, Otoha is helping Lilisa improve her violin skills. Otoha, of course, charms Alice so that she gets completely distracted, but she does not give up on her quest. The funny thing is that Otoha had someone guarding the clubhouse, and she notified her when Alice approached and entered the building.

With that comes the day of the performance. They meet their band members and introduce themselves by their nicknames, Lily and Oto. The thing is, Alice and her classmates are going to see the bands play at the venue, including the one that Lilisa and Otoha are playing in. I guess how Alice will react is about to get interesting.

@chikorita157@chikorita157.com Lots of potentially interesting elements, but I’m still find the academy setting anachronistic. Especially with how many real world references there are. Also, I think Alice might be right to be suspicious of Lilisa’s mother.
