After Kohona decides to help Satoko with assassinations by using her skill to turn everything into leaves to hide the evidence, Kohona finally earns money from her efforts. Perhaps she should use that money to buy new clothes so she won’t get targeted?
After Satoko saved Kohona two times from two ninja assassins trying to kill her for escaping the village, she took her in. After all that taunting with the food, Satoko shows all the money. Yep, Kohona seems impressed by how much money they earned, as Satoko decides to split the profits with Kohona.
Yep, Kohona finds things like a bank book a bank account to put her money in and even spend it. Of course, Satoko is not into doing assassinations for money, as she is trying to improve her reputation. Kohona wants some supplies and everyday clothing, of course, as she stands out with her ninja clothing.

Kohona wants to borrow some clothing to go out with, but of course, Satoko doesn’t have any. I admit the outfits Kohona tried out are cute, but Satoko disapproves. That is while Kohona walks around wearing her ninja outfit. It’s for a purpose, as Satoko is trying to lure out one of the assassin ninjas. It’s Asuka who is waiting for Kohona to finish washing her hands. Azusa, of course, lives with Midori as she wonders where Fumiko is. Yes, that short, blonde-haired ninja with a fang is the one that Satoko and Kohona killed.

As expected, Azusa tried to kill Kohona in the restroom, but Satoko came up and killed her. Yep, as always, they got rid of the evidence, and Satoko showed her outfit to Kohona. It was a very embarrassing outfit with a sweater with a unicorn, which Kohona didn’t like.

The funny thing is that while Satoko is away, she meets the “leader” living with her fiancée. However, she is unemployed and can’t find a job, although she has a place to stay. She seems concerned about Kohona working with an assassin despite earning much money. She tells Kohona to live an everyday and happy life, although Kohona thinks it would be hard.
Eventually, Satoko gives Kohona a copy of her family register as she is now a full-fledged member of society. However, Satoko asks for the money back as Kohona reveals what happened during her meeting with the Leader. It’s funny how Kohona asks about goals and what they are, as Satoko shares the obvious, raising her assassin rankings. Now that she is away from the ninja stuff, she can chase her dreams, but it requires money. In a way, Satoko is trying to keep Kohona doing what she usually does.

Eventually, Kohona met with the Leader again, and the Leader got upset over Satoko’s influence. Of course, Kohona shows her new smartphone, and of course, the Leader is stuck with an old flip phone from her fiancée. In a way, Kohona tries to entice her to join forces with Satoko. The funny thing is that she is behind her, and the Leader thinks she will get killed. She eventually gets into a disagreement with Satoko.

The funny thing is that when Satoko orders coffee, she passes out when she is about to drink it. The server reveals herself as a Ninja assassin. It’s Midori, out to avenge Asuka’s and Fumiko’s death. The funny thing is that Kohona and the Leader don’t know what to do.

Somehow, Satoko kills Midori when she is about to kill Kohona and Leader. Yep, she faked the death, and Kohona is happy that Satoko is alive. The funny thing is that Satoko simply faked her death as she knew the coffee had poison. When Satoko wants to eliminate the witnesses, the Leader stops her as she decides to use her memory-wiping abilities instead. It’s funny how Satoko treats Kohona and the Leader to a fancy dinner. Still, Satoko’s smile creeps the Leader out.

After the credits, we see Midori hanging out with Asuka and Fumiko and having a drinking party. When Fumiko mentions marriage to Asuka, she gets super embarrassed. Midori knows that Asuka wants to marry Fumiko, but Asuka threatens her. Asuka is more than just best friends with Fumiko. Too bad they are all dead, thanks to Satoko and Kohona assassinating them. At least they are now together in heaven, with Midori.

@chikorita157 Great show, but so brutal.
They just keep killing really cool looking characters and then go give them some background where it just feels tragic that they are dead.
I did not expect this should to be so, well, emotionally brutal.
