Falfa and Shalsha want to go to a spirit summit. Also, Beelzebub is looking for one of the undead out of the open.
With Faifa and Shalsha, Azusa picked up her earnings from selling all those slime-shaped sweet buns. Of course, she also got a letter from Natalie about a World Spirit Summit. It’s an event where spirits from the world meet at Nanterre Lake. However, only spirits can attend, although they allow guardians to accompany them. It makes me wonder something.

As expected, Falfa and Shalsha brought a bag of stuff, and Azusa wondered what was inside them. As expected, Falfa and Shalsha fell sleepy as they stayed late to participate in the trip. They also had some sandwiches before eventually arriving at the lake and resting until the summit started at night.

Yep, they just appeared from the lake. The thing is, the summit is just about talking to other spirits. Falfa and Shalsha used it to get autographs and give gifts of slime-shaped sweet buns. Sure, Shalsha was a bit shy, but with Azusa pushing her, she could interact with other spirits. It’s funny how when Azusa introduced herself, they believed Azusa was an evil witch, but she said it was embellished. However, they mentioned there is one that is not dead or alive but smells terrible, and they need perfume to cover it.

Eventually, the summit ended, and Azusa was surprised it already ended. Eventually, a lady appeared from the lake. She is the one who arranged the event, as she asked about the event. Her name is Yufufu, the droplet spirit. She even invited Azusa, Falfa, and Shalsha to her home.

Yufufu revealed that she sent the invite because she wanted to meet Azusa. She knows Azusa has a “family” and wants to become Azusa’s mom so she can lean on her. Yep, it’s unsurprising that part of her outfit was wet when Azusa woke up. Either way, Azusa’s harem or family has grown.

In the second half, Beelzebub Vania and Fatla came to visit. Of course, Pecora came to have Azusa taste her cookies and just left. Either way, Beezlebub, Vania, and Fatla came because they were looking for an undead being that existed in the world. Undead beings belong in the demon realm.

After Azusa read the leaflets in the town near their destination, she overheard something from the spirits the other day. Eventually, they came across a house where a lady brought a basket of rotten fruit. They find out a cat girl went out of the house. Interestingly, Azusa feels that this cat girl looks pretty relatable. Azusa has to fake a delivery to get in as the cat girl tries to close the door on Beelzebub.

This cat girl, Pondeli, has many games and stuff around her home. I find the reason why she died funny. She doesn’t like work, and she even finds eating to be a chore. No wonder she died, but somehow, from the moonlight, she became alive or, rather, undead. With that, she became a graveyard guard, which is easy.
Beelzebub wants to take Pondeli into the demon realm, where the undead are supposed to be. While Beezlebub failed to beat her in a card game to compel her to go there, Azusa worked out a deal that could work with Pondeli so she could play more games with other people and not feel lonely. At least all ends well, although the idea of an undead cat girl is quite interesting.
@chikorita157 Such a nice feel good show. Like all the characters and the vibe.
Looks like a new main character in the opening. 🙂
