Now that Liella has managed to pull off a second successive win at Love Live, it’s time for graduation and the 3rd years to wrap up their loose ends before they graduate.
As expected, there is nothing too groundbreaking in this episode. It’s funny to see Kanon panicking over what to bring. The funny thing is that Margarete tells her she doesn’t need to get the kitchen sink. After being reminded that everything will be fine, it’s weird to see Kanon hug Margarete and Aria. Still, Kanon seems worried since she will be alone as Margarete decides to stay at Yuigaoka.
Of course, Keke talked with Sumire, and apparently, she is going to university to fulfill her dream. Yep, the same agency accepted Keke as Sumire. Even if they graduated, Keke wants to be with Sumire, of course. Why else would she audition for the same agency?
As for the 1st and 2nd years, they work harder as Kanon comes to school to see how they are doing. Yep, the pressure is on as they have to make a third successive win. It’s funny how the remaining members want Mei as the club’s president. It’s unsurprising since she is the most enthusiastic about school idols.
Eventually, Kanon met with Chisato, Keke, Sumire, and Ren. Of course, they reflect on their three school years and being school idols. They decided to make a new song after having a hot pot in a gym. Of course, Kanon has people in mind to see their performance.
As expected, the 2nd year is very emotional to see their senior members graduate. The funny thing is that Kinako seems the most emotional and wants to go so far as to have them repeat a grade. Of course, that will not happen, as Kinako doesn’t wish for Kanon to disappear. Also, it’s interesting to see Sumire going all out with her hair as if she is like a wealthy lady or something.
After graduation, Kanon and her friends take one last group photo. As expected, Kinako continues to cry. Sure, Magurete is, too, although she denies it. That is when Tomari asks Kanon if she can have her ribbon, as she has looked up to Kanon since becoming a school idol. Of course, Kanon gives it to her as she has confidence in Liella’s future. Of course, Kinako starts crying that her senior members will disappear, but Kanon assures her that the memories they had together won’t disappear. With that, Kanon, Chisato, Keke, Sumire, and Ren give the remaining 6 members a performance of a song.
Final Thoughts
As expected, the third season of Love Live is a very enjoyable way to end the series. It’s nice that Margarete received a backlash for her personality. Seeing her grow from hating Liella to eventually warming up to Liella was nice. Also, it was interesting to see how Tomari, Natsumi’s little sister, reveals more about their relationship with Natsumi and Tomari. Of course, the reason Natsumi obsesses over making money until she becomes a school idol. Also, seeing more of Keke’s development and her desire to continue her dream of singing is lovely.
That said, the third season has a lot of lovely songs and performances. Of course, there were two different groups of Liella until they became well, and they also became some good songs, with some bangers. That said, Ren gives the lovely moments, although not too much about her video game addiction compared to the last season.
