After taking a breather as Flum reunites with Eterna and gets some supplies, it seems that a certain someone wants revenge on Flum. As she leaves the house to do some chores, she gets surrounded by a bunch of guards and perps. It’s obvious who is behind it.
From last time, Flum got surrounded. They found out that Flum justifiably killed those perps from Dein. They are not happy that she killed them, although it’s obvious they are very bad people for what they tried to do to Milkit. Of course, they try to shoot arrows at her, but they find out the hard way that she can heal from any attack they attempt to do.

Eventually, after Flum lost the perps and guards who tried to capture her, it’s obvious she seems concerned about Milkit’s safety. We knew what happened, and she doesn’t want a repeat. Thankfully, while Flum was away, she basically used her magic to deal with the perps that were standing in front of the house. Still, Milkit seems a bit worried.

Of course, Flum gets surrounded by Dein and his perps, besides a bunch of royal guards under his control. He basically uses a blind orphan girl to try to use it as bait for Flum to drink the poison. Flum couldn’t help but see the girl possibly going to die at the hands of these thugs, but it’s probably just as bad as one of their perps attempting to r*pe Milkit.

When Flum decides to drink the poison, she basically passes out as blood comes out of her mouth as she becomes unconscious. Dein really thought he got her, until Flum, out of nowhere, kills two of his perps. Basically, the guards surround Flum as Dein and his perps decide to escape. However, a red-twin-drilled lady, Ottilie Fohkelpi, decides to apprehend the soldiers that are under Dein’s control and have some of his henchmen. However, Dein and some of them managed to get away.

Still, Ottilie obviously knows Flum as she is happy to see her again. She was the one who picked Flum up from her village. Of course, she, like Eterna, is not happy about what Jean did to her, but especially about the fact that Flum’s parents entrusted their daughter to her. Still, Ottilie learns about Flum’s reversal ability, which allows her to use cursed weapons, be able to heal instantly, and poisons are basically ineffective. If only they knew more about Flum’s affinity, it would have saved her.
That said, we can see why the Church has an interest in Flum. Of course, they shared the findings about the Church’s experiments at the abandoned labs. They think the orphan they took in might be one of those after Flum mentioned the swirl face lady wearing similar clothes at the abandoned lab. The Church is doing something fishy. That is, besides learning that Dein came from a family that had fallen from nobility. With his knowledge, he gained influence on the west side of the capital and even recruited some soldiers from the capital army.

That said, we learn a bit about Ottilie, who is fighting against this corruption. Of course, she mentions the general of the Royal Army, Henriette, whom Ottile has a huge crush on. She obsesses over Henriette, making her seem like a fangirl, but shows her frustration over losing time to spend time with her, thanks to Dein. Of course, Sara came over, who seemed concerned. At least we know that Flum and Milkit are not the only yuri pairing in this story.

That said, they eventually had dinner as Ottilie eventually left for the night. Yep, she is part of the team now, which is nice. Milkit, of course, takes her treatment. Still, it’s obvious that Milkit is worried about Flum’s safety, but at least she made it out alive as she hugs her. Also, Eterna examined the orphan and discovered that magic was used to shut her eyes. We don’t know the exact reason why.

At the same time, it’s nice to see Dein get the justice he deserves. He learns that another man, Kahnis, has taken over the west side forces. Now, he sees Dein as no longer useful, as he ordered the soldiers to kill him. He escaped, just to find Phill, no longer in his form, but part of a living wall. He is no longer himself as Dein freaks out. Eventually, he ends up getting killed by that wall. Well, at least he got what he deserved in the end.
