Now that Flum and Sara managed to defeat a swirl-faced ogre and discover the dark truth about the Church. While Milkit waited for Flum and Sara to return, when she opened the door, something bad happened. It becomes obvious who came into the house.
Flum and Sara came home late that night and found a horrific sight. Flum saw two people stabbed and unconscious, and she knew the culprits. Yes, it’s those low-life adventurers who want to plot revenge against Flum for humiliating them by managing to finish a quest they weren’t supposed to complete successfully.

Besides killing one of the perps, she went to the bedroom, and it was horrific. The man was about to r*pe her, well, no wonder Flum really wants to kill this perp, even going so far as to allow herself get stabbed as it wouldn’t affect her in the end. Sara really didn’t want her to kill the perp, but as Flum said, some really evil humans don’t learn, even when they are punished. Given that he almost r*ped her, well, he deserved to get killed.

That said, Flum had to comfort Milkit as well; her new outfit got basically ruined by the perps. Flum apologizes for not returning early enough and for failing to protect her. But she knows that protecting her life is far more critical than any clothes. After all, she wants to see the dream through to the end of making her beloved the happiest. Sure, it’s a somber moment, but she will eventually understand the meaning behind this.

Eventually, Flum, Milkit, and Sara left the couple to head back to finish the quest. Sure, Sara still doesn’t understand why Flum goes out of her way to kill both of those perps. But of course, it ended with her teasing and threatening to tickle her. That is why the hero party is still in turmoil and not getting anywhere close to their goal. We also see the demons, which we know Neigass shared her findings with other members of the Demon Chiefs, Sheitoom, Tsyon, and Dhiza.

It’s apparent that they don’t want to fight humans or even a war, but humans want to fight them. Still, they wonder about Flum and her reversal ability, as Neigass shows a broken swirl core she bought back. Funny how she showed a flower instead of the cores at first. Still, seeing their reaction when they found out that Flum was managing to break a core surprised them. Still, they are concerned about her going near the seal or the hero party, as it can disrupt the peace.

The next day, Flum and Milkit visited the client’s home to give the herbs. They met the client’s daughter, Welcy, who is excited to meet Flum. However, she is surprised by the mark she heard about from the rumors. Even so, she is apparently interested in finding information about the Church to expose them for using herbs and for wanting to monopolize them. She even gives a special card saying she is waiting for leads.

The man eventually gives something in return for her efforts. What Flum asks for is some kind of base, which turns out to be a house, but surprisingly well kept for not being used. Well, it becomes apparent that someone is already living there, and it’s no other than Eterna. Well, it’s obvious she abandoned the party not too long ago, but when she finds out that Flum has that mark, she asks why. Well, it’s obvious: Jean did it, and she figured he would. At least they have an emotional reunion, with Eterna apologizing to her. At least Flum mentioned that she brought Milkit into her life, so it’s not all bad.

In the end, Eterna agrees to help make a cure for Milkit’s condition. Even with that, Milkit still feels that she will always be a “filthy, ugly being.” Of course, Flum says that it’s not true and she will always be there for her. Still, I guess it will take some time for her to get over the trauma.
