After Ruri tried to steal Nana away from Kaede and failed, Nana finally decides to see Nekonote through a video call. What happens is surprising. Also, Touko pays a visit.
Given that Nekonote has been working for a while now on helping Nana, primarily with backgrounds, Nana never met her in person, yet virtually. In short, they had a video call with Nekonote so Nana and Mizuki could introduce themselves to her. Surprisingly, she is a teenage girl who is actually pretty timid and also usually wears a mask.

Of course, she thought the video call meant she was going to get canned, as Nana seemed fine doing it via text chat. As expected, Nana had to explain that this wasn’t the intent; she just wanted to meet her and see who she is.

Surprisingly, she dropped out of school because she couldn’t make friends and was never recognized for her efforts. That is, until Kaede noticed her work and asked her to help with Nana’s. She admits that after she saw her name at the end of the first volume of the manga, she was pleased that Nana recognized her work, which was the first she had ever received. Either way, at least their first meeting turned out well, and Nekonote shared how she felt on social media.

The next day, Nana panics as Touko reveals that she is coming over for a visit. As expected, Arisa is not happy at all that Touko is being all friendly with her as she beats her at a game of Shogi. Funny how Arisa tries out the game herself, beats Touko, and even has the urge to fall in love with her.

Funny how Touko praises Arisa for being a fast learner. However, Touko admits that when they had dinner at a restaurant, she felt empty after losing all the time, despite loving her job. She wonders if it’s the same for Nana, Arisa, and Mizuki, and obviously, they face their own difficulties. With that, Touko Touko decides to stay over at Nana’s apartment for the night.

The next day, Kaede wrapped up Nana’s meeting over her storyboards. They basically have dinner at a nearby restaurant, and it’s funny how Asakura and Ruri were there. They are still chasing after Nana, doing a series for her. Funny how Asakura is jumping into the fray.

In the end, Kaede, while walking back after eating, was all drunk. She makes it plainly obvious to Ruri and Asakura that Nana is doing a second series for her, not for anyone else. Yep, while Nana panics as she can’t handle another series, as she is barely getting by doing one. Kaede is obviously doing this to make it evident that Nana is hers and hers only. I guess it’s a sign that the Nana and Kaede pairing is going very strong.
