As Youko and Airi head to their next destination, Yokohama. Of course, they found that the sea level was much higher, which led them to a dead end. That is, until Airi brought back part of a robot that she thinks is a human.

In a flashback, we see Youko looking at photos of various landmarks with Airi in a shelter. Of course, she wants to go to these places eventually. However, Chitose, Youko’s older sister, who is on a big screen in a different location, tells them they have to wait until it’s safe to head outside.

Back in the present, as Youko is amazed by the views near Yokohama, the ocean seems much louder as they yell themselves towards the sea. Eventually, they rode the bridge and found they couldn’t go any further because part of it was missing. Thankfully, they didn’t ride over the edge, or they wouldn’t have made it further.

As Youko decides to fish, Airi looks for food. As expected, Youko didn’t have much luck catching any fish. Of course, she saw a vision with her older sister at the waterfront in Yokohama. Eventually, she wakes up as she manages to pull in a fish. However, a shark came and ate most of the fish’s body. In short, she only got a fish head to grill. That is when Airi brought back part of a robot she thinks is a human.

Eventually, she manages to recharge the robot with the motorcycle battery. Eventually, it woke up and started moving, but it has amnesia. While there is a nearby photo of a family, the robot can’t recognize the wife and his daughters, even though it mentions their daddy as their father.

However, when Youko took them to the port of Yokosuka, he was willing to tag along. Of course, he rebooted one, but afterwards he saw some of the memories he had with his wife and kids, and the time he woke up as a robot —probably an attempt by his wife to save his life. At the same time, they found out that the submarine blocked the road.

Thankfully, they got to the right destination. They saw a big orca whale eating a whole shark. Yep, it appears that after the world changed, whales grew really big. After yelling at the sea and watching the site, the robot finally remembered its name. His name is Suzuki Ichiro. While Youko wants to take him with their travels and find a way to fix him up, he decides to stay behind.
As Youko and Airi leave, Ichiro remembers the day when he lost his wife and daughters on the ship and wanted to save them during a port disaster. We know what happened. As his power runs out, he falls into the ocean and finally reunites with his family. I guess it’s for the best. With that, I wonder where Youko and Airi will go next.

Still, there is a lovely scene as Airi declares she wants to be with Youko forever. That is when Yoko asked Airi if she ended up alone. Obviously, she doesn’t want to get separated from Youko, as she wants to be with Airi forever, too.
