Besides Ayumu’s unconventional way to eat ramen, the focus is well on Wako’s little sister, Riko. Yes, besides captivating everyone’s hearts with her cute appearance, a certain someone wants to date her
.
At last, we see some progress with Tanabe as her leg is almost fully recovered. That is after she sees someone deliver liquor. The theme is, of course, love as Tanabe seems to have a crush on Adatara Tatsura since grade school. However, she can’t bring herself to talk to him, that is, until she called him on the phone asking about his favorite food. The funny thing is, his father picked up the phone, and it’s not actually him. I guess it’s to be continued.

Of course, the whole segment is basically about Riko. As expected, the police man seems amazed by Riko after he saved her as she almost walked into an open manhole. Funny how the police man tries to resist Riko’s captivation as he pulls out the love arrows that literally went through his body and throws them at other people, who become attracted to Riko. That is why romantic music is playing to set the theme.

The other aspect is Tatewaku, Matsuri’s older brother. Matsuri with Ecchan went into his room, and he was reading a band magazine. He wants to kick his little sister and friend out. Eventually, it led to a discussion of forming a band and a name that sounds like song titles. They ultimately decide on a band name involving food, but it somehow exists in several instances.
Funny how they couldn’t come up with anything in the end, since they are either lame or taken. When he thinks about his little sister’s birthday, it happens during the Obon holiday. Combining the Obon holiday and his birth, he comes up with the name “Bon Jovi,” which is obviously taken. It’s funny how they mention a famous band from New Jersey of all places.

The last segment focuses on Tatewaku’s preparation for his “date” with Riko. He’s unsure what to wear, so he takes out his life savings and buys a worn-out and expensive T-shirt from a boutique. Funny how his father and little sister laugh at how he looks, before making the outfit even more embarrassing. Also, he had trouble ringing the doorbell to Riko’s house as he seemed very nervous. The policeman was observing the area until Riko came out, and he was awestruck by her cute appearance. The funny thing, Ecchan and Matsuri were planning to spy on Tatewaku, but somehow, he made it through as he was seen walking with Riko.

As for the date, they attended a play in which Midori played the role of Momotaro, with the animals participating, including one as the Oni. The funny thing is, I finished the first part of the Pokémon Scarlet Teal Mask DLC, and yes, it’s literally based on the same story. That said, it’s one strange version of the story, especially since Momotaro is basically a half-peach, half-human, instead of a human that came out of a peach. Also, Momotaro did nothing in this story.
