After Yuu has some bonding time with Rura while watching a movie at a theater, Atori catches on to the new nickname for Rura. She wants a special nickname. Also, there is another girl who has an interest in Yuu.

It’s funny how Yuu forgot Rura’s nickname after she agreed on one. After a few tries, Yuu finally said the nickname Rura had given to Yuu. Funny how Atori talked with Sumiki Kiyoraka, one of her best friends, about the nickname Yuu called Rura, Shijimi. Atori wants a silly nickname from Yuu and thinks Yuu is calling her Hotate. The funny thing is that Kiyoraka has a strong interest in Atori. She tells her that she can give as many nicknames as Atori wants
Of course, given that Atori views Yuu as her pet, she sees Rura getting her nickname as one pet ignoring the owner, but going for someone else and acting friendly towards them. That said, Atori picks Hotate because it’s stronger and meatier than Shijimi clam.

The funny thing is that when Atori comes up to Yuu all excited, she gets startled. Funny how Atori has Yuu try to guess the nickname Atori wants her to use. Well, Yuu got answers far from what Atori is thinking. Eventually, she had to tell Yuu the one she wanted to be called. It’s funny to see Yuu feeling uneasy when she called Atori “Hotate.” In return, Atori will call Yuu Sazae, which is a type of sea snail. Yep, it didn’t last long as well, as Yuu doesn’t seem to like it. Funny to see Rura get jealous that Atori, her rival, has a stronger nickname than what she received.

In the second segment, it appears that Yuu is reverting to being a good girl. After all, she received a good grade and received extra food from the lunch lady. It’s all because Yuu wasn’t wearing those faux-earrings. After all, her ears hurt. Suzu gave her more comfortable alternatives.

Of course, Yuu realizes that she is falling behind in being a bad girl, that she needs to redouble her efforts. She decides to have Suzu ride on her bike as that is what delinquents do. The funny thing is that Yuu and Suzu both fell off the bike. Funny how Suzu gets annoyed when Yuu thinks it’s her weight. No, it’s Yuu who’s not used to riding a bike. After some more falls, Suzu put on training wheels, which make it easier, but Yuu doesn’t think it’s cool enough. Eventually, she got the hang of it and gave it another try. It took more attempts, but it’s good enough for a video, which Atori perceives as Yuu practicing.

an attraction to Atori, at first sight.
In the third segment, we learn more about Kiyoraka, one of Atori’s best friends. Like Yuu, Kiyoraka has an attraction to Atori, as well as to other girls, and personifies herself as the lily of the valley. She essentially became a library assistant because the girls of her preferred type —those who are mature and quiet —would often visit the library. When Atori and Kiyora ran into Yuu heading to the library to return books, Kiyoraka saw firsthand what Yuu is like, along with the noise she makes when she gets excited.

As expected, Kiyoraka has a strong interest in Yuu after Atori mentioned her. It’s funny how when Yuu came to the library, she found out the book Yuu likes, which is a yuri novel. She lets her read the new novel from her favorite author in a separate room. It’s easy to tell since “White Lily” is in the title and Yuu mentions the scene where they are bound together. The funny thing is that Kiyoraka asks if she is into that kind of thing called girl’s love, and Yuu can’t give a straight answer. Of course, Kiyoraka tries to flirt with Yuu until Atori wakes up. When Kiyoraka hugs Yuu, saying she likes her and asks Atori if she can have her, Atori says no. Yuu is Atori’s. Does it make it evident that they are in a relationship now, as Yuu realizes Atori has promoted her or even acknowledges her feelings for Yuu?

Either way, Kiyoraka is a nice addition, and obviously, she wants both Atori and Yuu. In a way, Yuu is starting to have a harem of some type, which consists of Suzu, Atori, Rura, and now Kiyoraka. Funny how Rura was stuck in the same room with Atori, Yuu, and Kiyoraka, but never managed to get out after they left. I guess she is staying there for the night.
This show continues to make Saturdays Peakday 1.
Kiyo is a powerful 5th member and possibly a favorite if she keeps it up and gets more screen time. Hopefully the 6th will be formally introduced next time.
I know Rura’s embarrassed reactions are part of her charm but give the poor girl a break. She’s wonderful happy too.
