At last, the Manga Time Kirara adaptation I was looking forward to after reading the first volume is finally here. Yep, it’s what you expect as Yuu develops a crush on the morals committee.

As expected, Yuu is a shy student who gets good grades and is also a good girl. However, she is attracted to Mizutori Atori, the leader of the morals committee. Of course, I find it amusing how Yuu is in despair after not being noticed by Atori, and Atori comments on Suzu’s blonde hair.

The funny thing is that she doesn’t scold her for dying her hair like that, but compliments her. Funny how Suzu notices Yuu being upset as Atori comes to her and tells her that Suzu is easily misunderstood and to look after her. It’s funny how Yuu hyperventilates after Atori says that and winks.

With that, Yuu tries to become a delinquent or rather, a bad girl, to get her senpai to notice her. I find her idea of being a delinquent hilarious. She put colored hair extensions in her hair, put erasers on her shoes to make them look like platform shoes, wore a loose jersey, and used binder clips as earrings. Of course, she pays everything with 10 yen coins at a shop and pours water on roses in a vase to make them drown. Yep, it doesn’t seem that delinquent to me, and it shows that girls think Yuu is cute and that she looks like a middle schooler.

The funny thing is Atori’s reaction. Suzu notices that Yuu is obsessed with Atori and thinks the whole act of being a delinquent doesn’t suit Yuu, as she is too cute to be one. Yuu insists she has to stand out to get Atori to notice her. Otherwise, she will resemble a normal flat rock that won’t be seen. Suzu leaves Yuu because she thinks Yuu is picking a fight with her. Yuu gets upset as Suzu won’t walk with her.

The funny thing is that Atori notices Yuu. However, she notices that Yuu’s attempts at being a delinquent are also not rule-breaking. The only problem is the temporary tattoo, but she somehow let it slip because Yuu is cute. As expected, Yuu hyperventilates. Yuu gets all excited and tells Suzu that Atori called her pretty.
In the second segment, Yuu tries to be a delinquent as she draws a message on the window. Of course, Atori was there by chance. Yuu tries to make funny faces, and of course, it doesn’t give the reactions she expected. The amusing thing is that an elderly woman came on the bus, and Yuu wondered if she should offer her the seat.

The funny thing is that Atori gave up her’s. Eventually, Yuu tells Atori her name and Atori why Yuu wants to be a bad girl. Yuu revealed the obvious, as she has someone she admires and decides to do it to get closer to them. Funny how Atori thinks Yuu is cute as a puppy while Yuu thinks of the person being a woman. Either way, at least they come as friends, as Atori wants to get to know Yuu more. It’s amusing how Yuu wants to bribe her after hearing this, but she refuses to accept it. Instead, Atori draws a message so she can be a “bad girl” too and asks if Yuu will be friends with her now. Yep, Yuu gives the same reaction. Of course, Yuu gets upset with Suzu for being insensitive, as she doesn’t understand what Yuu is doing.

In the third segment, Suzu tries to buy something to make up with Yuu. It’s amusing how Atori tries to obtain the exact item that Suzu wants. Atori gives the item that Suzu wants, as she reveals her intention to give it to someone to make amends with them. It’s funny how Atori guessed Yuu, since Suzu is with her all the time.

Suzu eventually asked why Atori is interested in Yuu in particular. It becomes obvious when Atori pulls out the dog ears and collar, since she thinks Yuu is cute as a puppy. Yep, it explains everything. Funny how Suzu takes them, and Yuu saw Atori try to get them back from Suzu. Yuu thinks that Suzu wants Atori to wear them and gets upset at her. Atori says it’s just a casual relationship with her and Suzu.

Thankfully, Suzu makes up with Yuu as she gives a favorite treat to her. Yep, Yuu did the same. Of course, Atori gives Yuu a special sweet too, and of course, Yuu wants to treasure it. The funny thing is, Atori gives up on providing the collar and dog ears to Yuu and pushes them on Suzu, when she doesn’t want them. I guess Yuu will wear them eventually, although Atori ends up wearing them..

That said, the first episode did not disappoint, even though I read the first two volumes beforehand. It’s been a while since there was an actual yuri Manga Time Kirara adaptation, with the last being Sakura Trick. That said, it’s evident that Suzu is easily misunderstood. Even after the credits, Suzu tries to pet a cat, but she ends up scaring it. When she captures it, students look at her and put her in an embarrassing situation. The question is, how does the relationship go from here? We’ll see soon enough.
