After Azusa helps Mega-mega save her virtue card scheme, the yearly Flatta dance festival is finally here. You know what this means, right? Another café?
As everyone prepared for the festival, Sandra didn’t know what it was. Azusa mentioned they did a café last year, and it’s obvious what they plan to do. Yes, another café? Well, Azusa feels that they should make it a permanent shop since last time, there were a lot of people who thought it was a bit too much.

With that, Misjantie offered to help manage the café. After all, she wants to diversify her business. Azusa accepts. As expected, Natalie won’t allow this since it has to be Azusa’s family running the shop on the festival eve. In short, they worked to make the crowd more manageable by implementing a ticket system and ensuring that adventurers do not engage in scalping. If only this could happen in real life where scalping was made illegal, society would be in a better place (looking at you, Ticketmaster, Pokemon card scalping, and Switch 2)

As expected, with the queue, the café was a success and not chaotic. We, of course, see Laika acting all flustered, wearing the maid outfit, given how cute she looks in it. Of course, Sandra didn’t join in until later, when Azusa convinced her, and she showed that she had made a maid outfit for her.

Thankfully, Sandra managed to pull it off without dropping the food from the tray she was serving. It’s funny how the first few guests that came in were what I expected. It consisted of Pecora (of course), Mu, Yufufu, and Mega-mega, who cut the line since she is a goddess, after all. Even with the large turnout, they managed to serve all the customers, which is commendable in itself.

The next day, Azusa and her family visited the stalls. They saw that Eno was selling her medicine. Also, Pondeli showed off her new monster trading card game with a twist of magical effects. Azusa has to step in to stop those effects.

Lastly, as for the big performance, we see Pecora put on an idol performance with Kuku playing some of the instrumentals. Yep, Pecora will do an idol performance. This time, she had Azusa come on stage to sing a song to end the festival.
Final Thoughts
Like the first season, what I could say about the first season can be said in the second installment. It’s still a fun, enjoyable, and laid-back isekai slice-of-life show. Of course, the new additions to the cast are delightful too, most notably Yufufu, who takes the place of Azusa’s mother, Sandra (the latest member of the family), Muum Muum, and Misjantie. Additionally, the jellyfish spirit, Curalina, although cute, creates artwork that is scary and depressing.
That said, there are some amusing moments. Besides Azusa falling for the gnome maker mushroom, Yufufu gets to play dress up with Azusa and Sandra in cute outfits, and Azusa turning into a fox girl is the beach episode. Yep, the second season is automatically better because of this. That said, if you enjoy the prequel of this, you will no doubt enjoy this new installment. After all, we need to see more laid-back isekai shows with female protagonists rather than those with an overpowered male protagonist and a harem.
