After Haruno, Satsuki, An, and Shikishima went to Mt. Norikuma, where An and Shikishima filmed their skateboarding video, they continued their trip. However, Kako wakes up late and now scrambles to meet them up in the hot summer weather.

Yep, Kako overslept as she hurries to get to her destination. Yes, she is struggling in the hot weather, having to ride behind trucks, dealing with the heat from her bike, and getting stuck in traffic. Eventually, she took a break and had ice cream. The funny thing is that Haruno, Satsuki, An, and Shikishima were having ice cream too.

When Kako came back, she found out that she got a flat. Thankfully, an old man was heading to Takayama to cool off. Believe it or not, his voice sounds familiar. It’s Rin’s grandfather, Hajime Shinshiro. Of course, Kako dreams of becoming a bike rider like him.

Eventually, Kako gets stuck in more traffic before she ultimately makes it. She went to a shop and bought that dry-cured ham before heading to the camp, where she found Haruno, An, Satsuki, and Shikishima lying down on a blanket without building their tents. Yep, they are waiting for Kako for dinner. While Kako was away, they went to Myojin Pond. They see an old man working on a painting. Interestingly, he knows that Haruno is an artist of some kind and that creating art of things one likes will never grow old. They also walked through the mountain.

Eventually, they discovered that all the places in the area were closed for the day. With that, they had nothing to eat as Haruno was planning to go to a restaurant for dinner. Yep, they close early, so they have to eat what they have., which is not much. Haruno didn’t bring a stove, so they had to eat the ham raw. At least they made it to the bath. It shows that Haruno made a research failure, but at least they had fun.

The next morning, the alarm comes up, and Haruno panics as she tries to wake everyone up so they can make it to the bus to Kurobe and Hakuba. At least they made it as Haruno says goodbye to Kamikochi.

Their next stop is Kurobe Dam. I find it amusing how they stand there and watch the entire documentary on how the dam was made. It’s peculiar how the girls, aside from Satsuki, became so emotional that they cried when they rushed to the observation deck. Satsuki tries to get excited while everyone becomes emotional, especially An when she looks at the bucket used to make the dam. They also had dam-themed dishes, including the famous Kurobe Dam Curry. It’s funny how everyone else is reluctant to eat it because of that documentary when it’s just a dish the cook made.

Their second destination was the jumping ramp, where they drove. They took a lift up as ski jumpers used the structure. It’s amusing how An and Shikishima take their skateboards, thinking they will ride down the slope on them. It’s humorous how An and Shikishima become scared of heights when they head to the observation deck due to their great height. It’s funny how the normal hill is still scary for them. They also see a young man performing a skating jump before entering the exhibit, which features metal displays and a footprint display. Funny how Satsuki has an idea for a mold of Taishou’s butt. Haruno doesn’t seem to entertain that idea. With that, they head to the next leg of the trip, to Togakushi. Aside from that, it was a fun episode.
