Now that Satoko and Konona manage to vanquish the ghost from their new house, Satoko is struggling. After all, she can’t change things into leaves without her usual outfit. Additionally, Satoko also tries to acquire new ninja skills.
At the beginning of the episode, Karin tries to come up with a new video now that she is in heaven with the other ninjas. As expected, they showed off their outfits, and somehow, Mao made it to heaven after being absent in the last episode. It’s funny how Konona thinks their video is boring until Satoko comes in wearing her new Ninja outfit and manages to change her outfit power with a special skill she has. That is until Konoha wakes up and realizes it’s just a dream.

After eating breakfast, Satoko makes it evident that she needs to save money for new clothes. That is until she realizes that her ninja clothes got burned in the fire and the clothing that Marin picked is not her style. That is until Konoha had a dream in which Satoko showed off her new outfit.

With that, Satoko goes clothes shopping with Konoha to find the perfect ninja outfit. Sadly, most of them are cheap-looking, like with most premade cosplay. Even Satoko doesn’t want that stereotypical ninja outfit despite being one. Additionally, she is unsure if her village has an online store that sells those outfits. Also, it’s amusing how they visit an adult store in search of an outfit before they get kicked out. Then again, those outfits will not suit Satoko, as they expose too much.

After finishing their assassin job, Satoko has trouble turning the body into leaves without wearing her usual ninja attire. Konoha suggests to Satoko that she should probably use Kuro for the ninja outfit. After all, Kuro has given up her life being a ninja completely, although it’s evident that Yuri doesn’t want her to give it up yet.

Eventually, Kuro tries it on for one last time. Believe it or not, it resembles Satoko’s outfit, but in white. It’s funny how Konoha asks if the ninjas from Satoko’s village wear the same outfit. In the end, Kuro entrusts it with Satoko. On the way back, Satoko bought the same outfit she had bought for Konoha the last time, which had been burnt in the fire. Satoko is happy the shop still sells it as they head home.

After Satoko washes her new ninja outfit, I find it funny how Konoha tells her about the dream she saw. As expected, after dyeing the outfit to purple again and eventually wears that outfit with the new sneakers that resemble the one in Konoha’s dream. It’s funny how Konoha sees Satoko as a typical rank character turned into a rare one in a mobile game.

With Satoko following the ninja path still to help Konoha, of course, Konoha wants Satoko to try turning the leaves back to their original shape. I find it amusing how Konoha suggests using items from Marin to practice transforming objects into leaves. Of course, Marin gets freaked out, especially the fact that Satoko almost turned her home into leaves. The funny thing is that Satoko can’t turn living things into leaves. Satoko had the idea of turning a cat into leaves, but Marin stopped her. Konoha shows up to save that cat. She tries to find other things by going into the forest but gets caught by a ninja assassin wearing armor who wants to kill Konoha. The funny thing is that Satoko touches the assassin’s armor, which makes her buck naked before Konoha finishes her off.

What’s funny is that Marin didn’t realize that, eventually, her home had turned into leaves while she was having dinner. Satoko can transform large objects into leaves, but it takes some time. Marin is not happy as she is in a wheelchair. No wonder Konoha had Satoko use Marin’s stuff as test subjects, given that she is Konoha’s rival after all.
At the same time, the ninja assassins in heaven want to voice their grievances toward Satoko and Konoha as they plot revenge. Of course, Konoha and Satoko discover the livestream, and it only shows scary beings.

@chikorita157 Sounds like something worth to be watched after all! I hope there's no annoying Onsokumaru in it.

Yep, it’s a fun show with a good number of twists and good comedy. I definitely recommend giving it a try.
@chikorita157 The idea that someone could simply touch you and turn you into leaves (kill you) is pretty terrifying.
I wonder if the turning to leaves is a play on the leaf village. I have the feeling that I’m not picking up on the references.

@NaraMoore @chikorita157 It’s this obscure anime called Naruto 🙂 They are ninjas from the hidden leaf village.

Is Nauto obscure? I thought it was pretty well known.
I haven't watched but I'm familiar with the wedding scene.
@NaraMoore @chikorita157 It’s certainly one of the juggernauts I’d say. So I was just joking.
I’ve seen a few season but honestly it drags on something crazy. I really with they could release a condensed cut where the fights don’t take several episodes (of mostly not moving and rambling like crazy and constantly explaining everything!). I quite like the characters and world building etc.
The fights in something like wind breaker are incredibly much better and to the point.
But to go full circle, the show is about ninjas and assassins, so there has to be a lot of references I’m missing. 🙁 it’s quite be crazy show overall.
I guess there is probably a reason why they are after Satoko. After all, turning things into leaves is quite a powerful skill although she isn’t good at any other ninja skills.
The orange ninja outfit reminds me of a certain Ninja that starts with N. No surprise there.
@chikorita157 I think it’s more that she (and leader) is alive. They took out the others who escaped. Basically need a steady stream of ninjas coming after her.
It’s a fun show, but I get the feeling that they do random things for the gag and reference 🙂
Naruto is the juggernaut, so it’s a great thing to reference. Similar to Dragon Ball:)
Got a few episodes left. Curious where this goes and if we get any kind of conclusion.
