With Tina wanting to join the band to show her true self and Shiraya wishing to be in a band with Otoha, they have a contest to prepare for. However, Shiraya sees Lilisa and especially Tina as deadweights as she challenges Lilisa to prove her guitar playing.

From the last time, we find out why Otoha entered her band in a battle of the bands contest. In a flashback after Shiraya performed, Shiraya wants Otoha to ditch the twin-tailed girl and form a band together. Otoha won’t since Lilisa’s guitar playing is more alluring than Shiraya’s despite the skill gap.

The band members of Bitter Ganache are not happy that Shiraya is ditching them for Otoha when their band is doing well. Of course, Shiraya doesn’t see longevity in their band as they forgot their passion and focused more on popularity. Aki is not happy with the accusations Shiraya made and that she is abandoning their band. Shiraya revealed that she used Otoha’s rejection when she asked her to become part of her band to polish her skills further. Now that she has the skills to blow her mind truly.

In short, Aki challenges Shiraya to settle things in a battle of the bands contest. If Aki’s band wins, Shiraya has to become a permanent member and start at the lowest ranking. If Shiraya and Otoha win, Shiraya can leave Aki’s band. While she doesn’t want to do it, Otoha seems fired up about participating in one if she can win. Eventually, Shiraya concedes and decides to join in.

Of course, while Shiraya knows that she can’t change Otoha’s mind about getting rid of the Twintails girl, Lilisa, she can do one thing. Make it so that she has to prove herself. When Shiraya shows off her guitar playing, Lilisa has a huge hill to climb as her skills surpass what she can do. That is before Shiraya gives back the guitar and insults her for being a beginner. Shiraya decides to play the bass, so Lilisa has to prove her skills. Lilisa seemed very annoyed that Shiraya questioned her ability.

On the other hand, there is Tina. Shiraya sees Tina as a deadweight as her piano skills are terrible after she first played. Of course, Lilisa decides to help her, and we see a glimpse of Lilisa struggling to learn the guitar when she was young. She sees the same with Tina as she struggles to improve her piano skills. With that, Lilisa helps her improve her skills and focus on continuing play despite making mistakes. After all, not playing makes the mistakes more apparent.

With 7 days remaining, it’s time for Tina to play with the whole band finally. As expected, it was a disaster, and Shiraya had enough. She wants Lilisa to kick Tina out. Lilisa doesn’t know how to react as Tina is obviously in shock. The question is, can Lilisa convince Shiraya to give her more time to prove herself? It seems harsh, as Shiraya’s standards are high, and she must win to break Aki’s grip. Still, I feel bad for Tina, although her talking to her bunny plush is still cute.
