With Lilisa and Otoha deciding to do their first gig helping a symphonic band, can they give a good impression? Well, it appears that Alice is now attending the performance. How will she react when she sees her step-sister on stage?
As expected, Lilisa and Otoha discover that the band they are playing for is laid back. While they can play the music at full tempo, the rest of the band struggles as the conductor has to slow down the tempo many times. It’s funny how Lilisa and Otoha get frustrated, but the other struggles and the conductor just wants to play music with his band leisurely.
Of course, a man who knows the conductor, a professional singer, disparages the symphonic band. After all, he brags about having released two singles. As expected, this gets Lilisa and Otoha fired up as they need to show this guy who’s boss.

Meanwhile, Alice went with Hiyori to see a performance by her music teacher. Her sister plays in the band. Alice doesn’t like the low-class venue, but she tags along because Hiyori is her best friend. It was funny when the singer came on stage. Alice was very unimpressed by his performance, while others were impressed.

When it’s the symphonic band’s turn to perform on stage, Alice notices that her step-sister, Lilisa, is on stage with a bass guitar. She becomes annoyed that Lilisa and Otoha lied to her about practicing the violin. She looks determined to reveal this to her father so she can have Lilisa and her mother kicked out. However, it’s not the conductor that drove the band’s performance. Sure, the band has difficulty keeping up, but they hang on. Eventually, Lilisa breaks out the guitar for more impact.

Either way, they manage to bring in the crowd. Alice also changes her mind as she seems impressed by Lilisa’s performance. That said, when the singer offered Lilisa and Otoha to play as a backup band for him, Lilisa proceeded to tell the singer how much he sucked while being very vulgar. If you thought Alice’s impression of his singing was pretty negative, Lilisa’s was brutal.

Eventually, Alice runs into Lilisa as she knows what her step-sister is up to. What Lilisa said to her was to keep it a secret. When Alice returns, she changes her mind about the lilies and even asks Lilisa’s mother about Lilisa before she becomes part of the family. All her mother said was that she had always been one of the Suzunomiyas with those dead fish eyes. Yep, just like last time, it’s creepy.

Meanwhile, Lilisa seems worried that Alice has found out her true side. That said, Otoha had so much fun playing publicly with Lilisa and hopes to do so in the future. Now, they must find band members since they got their name out to the public.
