Last time, Chika went on a whim to Aizu for the first time. However, she faces yet another setback. It’s obvious what she does.
Chika, of course, faces another rejection, and she doesn’t know what to write in her manga now. With that, she decides to go on another journey for inspiration as she still has some prize money left and is on top of her class in college. Funny, the poll ended up north again, so she decided to go to Matsushima, which she heard from a haiku.

After arriving there, she discovers that oysters are their specialty, but she is not a fan of them. She, of course, visited Oshima and various places there. She also took multiple pictures and saw some lovely views that gave the feeling of Matsushima that inspired that haiku. Eventually, Chika felt better as she saw two girls having fun taking pictures nearby.

The evening comes, and Chika has to decide where to stay. She booked a place from her phone and had an eel bowl. I find it funny how the lady asks if Chika wants to try out grilled oysters, and she turns it down by saying that she is not a fan of them. The funny thing is that she tries them the next day in skewer form, and she finds it delicious after taking a ferry tour. She became a fan when she shared a photo with Koyomi, as she wanted to go on a trip with her.

The next day, Koyomi tags with Chika on another trip as they go up north again. Now, they head to Toyama. Chika, of course, took photos of the scenery as they headed to the bus stop. I find it funny when they try to get on the bus. The driver only takes coins. Do you think they will have electronic payments by now? Then again, Japan is one of the few countries that still widely use fax machines.

They ended up at the fish station, where a shop sells fresh fish. They were surprised by its small size, but it had good fresh sashimi and fried shrimp. They also visited the place with crystal clear fresh water and eventually saw the best spot for the Sea of Japan.

With that, Koyomi wonders if Chika can write something after her trips; she doesn’t seem confident. At least Koyomi admits she is up to hanging out at the beach with Chika anytime. Either way, they have good chemistry and perhaps make a good pairing.
