After Renge and her friends manage to drive off, Balor, Ayame and her friends find her fighting it alone. With Suzuran and her survivors safe, what is Renge’s next action plan?

At last, with Balor driven out, for now, Renge comes back to Suzuran with her friends. Of course, Suzuran hugs Renge, apologizing for what she said last time as she cries. She is happy Renge returned and says it doesn’t matter if the real Renge dies. It’s nice how things get emotional with Ayame crying until Suzuran admits she got snot on Renge’s clothes. That is funny, given that the scene is emotional, and Suzuran admits to doing something embarrassing.

It is also funny how Suzuran shares many of her older sister’s traits with Renge’s friends and some embarrassing things. Renge’s friends admit their impact on the Andvari and that Balor will recover eventually, although Ayame thinks the eye might have irreparable damage. Still, it shows how serious the challenge is against facing Balor as it can heal from other parts of Wild Hunts, like with Andvari.
With that, Renge and her friends suggest Suzuran meet at Shitoron’s place as they have a lot of food. Of course, we see hints of Suzuran wanting to come along with Renge and her friends to fight the Balor, but they turn her down. After all, Andvari is hard to come by as you can only get them from drops by defeating a Wild Hunt, and they assimilated most of them.

Still, Renge assures Suzuran that they can deal with Balor with Team Emu. Either way, Suzuran admits to deleting her social account after she got all those strange messages. She asks Renge to promise to come back safely and that she won’t delete her account again, and she hugs her. Eventually, they part ways as they figure out how to deal with Balor. Of course, they stayed at a Japanese-style inn.

After all, Renge shows signs of being tired, which is not surprising since she is recovering from the fight. Renge wanted to cook, but she was too exhausted to do it even if she wanted to do it. Eventually, her friends made a tasty curry with various secret ingredients. Yes, even boba pearls and peanut butter? Also, they went to the bath, which is another bonus to that pool episode.

Of course, while they bathed, Renge admits to seeing Balor while fighting with Yuri by her side. It makes you wonder if Renge loses her memories when she gets killed and eventually respawns somewhere. After they rest at the inn and try to find Balor, they come across a Wild Hunt and think a person is being chased down. Suddenly, out of nowhere, they see Yuri again. Wait, is Yuri alive after she was killed several episodes ago? Then again, is it Yuri? We have to wait and see next time as the mystery deepens.
