Kabushikigaisha Magilumiere – Episode 12 – Taking Down the Blaze Spider with Teamwork

December 21, 2024 by Chikorita157 3 Comments
Kana and Akane is dealing with a tough situation.

Last time, Shigemoto had Kana mentor Akane for a month. However, their practice session went wrong with a blaze Kaii, catching several abandoned buildings on fire and eventually mutating. Kana, Hitomi, and Akane have problems on their hands,

As expected, Kana and Akane witness a Kaii mutating. Eventually, Hitomi saw it. Of course, Kana and Akane must get out of harm’s way. Of course, the Kaii make it hard for them to escape. Eventually, Kana realizes how hot it is.

Kana wonders why she got chosen to mentor Akane.

Of course, we get a flashback of Kana reading many books and Shigemoto heading out of the office. Kana asks him why he chose Kana over Kana, given that she is a beginner. Of course, Shigemoto says that her leadership and judgment are why he chose her. Shigemoto explains that everyone else at Magilumiere has different abilities that aren’t at their full potential until Kana comes. She is the one that keeps the group together.

Kana uses a new feature to cool herself and Akane off.
The mutated Kaii knocks Akane off when she got caught ff guard.
Kana really goes that far to use her life to protect Akane, although she doesn’t want that.
Thankfully, Hitomi came to rescue Akane and Kana.

Kana realizes something as she takes a break with Akane, and she cools her and Akane with a reverse code that sprays them with cold water. She got the idea. Kana and Akane made it out while collecting data on the mutated Kaii. Eventually, Akane gets hit by the mutated Kaii and falls to the ground. Yes, Kana protected Akane with her life as she attempted to reboot her broom. Thankfully, Hitomi came to them in time to save Kana and put themselves in a protective bubble as they figured out a strategy.

Kana pulls of powerful attack to deal with the mutated Kaii.

In short, Akane distracts the Kaii while Hitomi does the defense, and Kana casts the spell. While it took two tries, Kana cast the spell to deal with the Kaii, and Hitomi captured it. Sure, this fight is more intense than the tree Kaii, but at least they managed to deal with it. It’s kind of amazing a simple task turned into a tough one. Still, it shows the teamwork with Kana taking the lead that allowed her, Hitomi, and Akane to take down the mutated Kaii and capture it successfully.

It’s obvious that Akane might have a things for girls as she says she doesn’t need a boyfriend.

Some time passes by, and of course, Kana mentoring Akane ends. Before Akane sees Kana off, they promise to meet each other in the future. Hitomi realizes how much Kana has grown up since that time. Also, it is interesting that Akane says she doesn’t need a boyfriend, which is what I think it is.

Eventually, Shikemoto tells the team he will be away for a few days for a conference regarding measures to deal with magical girls fighting Kaii mutations. Of course, it doesn’t end there, as Magilumiere received a second season. In short, it will be a while until we see the next part of the story.

@chikorita157@chikorita157.com Pretty standard bossfight with the Jon Peters monster. Funny that Akane went back for seconds with the meat drink and even roped Kana into trying it. Seems like they were pretty confident in getting renewed for season 2, given how much has been set up that still needs to be addressed.

Agreed, it’s not too surprising to see Kana, Akane, and Hitomi manages to take down that mutated Kaii successfully, although they have some setbacks.

Still curious how it will the first part end, but surely with the focus on the mutated Kaii, things are about to get started.
