After Kana and Hitomi save the expo from a mutated tree Kaii infestation, they are finally getting their brooms upgraded by a certain someone.
Shigemoto plans Kana and Hitomi to have their brooms tuned up by Ginji. It’s nice to see that Kana is wearing one of the outfits that Riri picked out during her project with her. Hitomi seems excited to meet Ginji. Also, it’s not the old man waiting outside the workshop. When they entered the waiting room, a drone came in, and of course, a young girl wearing a lab coat was the engineer working on brooms. Kana seems surprised that a young girl can make and work on brooms at a young age.
The funny thing about this is that Hana learned to become an engineer at a young age. The old man is just her father that helps him out. Believe it or not, Shigemoto seems to be helping her develop an energy-saving broom. As expected, Hana seems intrigued by Kana, and she wants to make a new broom when her father wants his daughter to do her Kanji practice and bathe. As expected, Hana is quite impressive, given her age. Her father trained her after finding out about her intellectual abilities.
When Kana and Hitomi returned to the office, we learned that someone had uploaded a video of the expo Kaii extermination, which garnered many views. We also find out that Shigemoto plans to sell his solution to expand the business so other magical girl businesses can use it to deal with mutated Kaii. In other words, Hitomi and Kana must show their strengths to attract more customers.
Eventually, Kana and Hitomi got their Brooms back tailored for Kana’s and Hitomi’s needs. It’s funny how Hitomi’s is lighter as she swings it around and takes it for a test ride. Meanwhile, Hana gives Kana a vast stack of manuals to read. I guess Hana knows that Kana can remember many things well. Either way, Kana read as much as possible before they have a Kaii extermination job. Yep, Kana is getting too much into learning the new features of her Broom.
Eventually, they have a job to do that others fail to do. Hana is watching, too, and it’s funny how she gets upset at them going at full speed as she cannot collect data. Of course, this job seems tricky as the Kaii emerges when Kana tries to get between the buildings to peek. However, she thinks it is possible as she uses the code input to scan the space between the two buildings.

n short, Kana’s Broom finds the Kaii, which looks bubble gum-shaped, and Nikoyama successfully develops a magic circle to take down the Kaii. Thanks to the new feature, Hana came up for Kana. Either way, Hana seems amazed by Kana’s abilities. Hana said she would need more magical girls like Kana when she parted ways. Yep, it’s an indication of what is to come soon. While another employee will come to Magilumire to learn about the system, Shigemoto wants Kana to mentor them. Yep, she seems surprised, but she has an important role coming up soon.

For sure Ginji is conforming to Magilumiere’s asthethics by making custom brooms that fit the user’s need. Why else she had Hitomi fly around with the broom while Kana read all those books.
Still quite amazing given how young Ginji is.
