Sure, Chizuko decides to stay at her grandfather’s since she found her new obsession: magical girls, especially Berry Blossom. Of course, she finds out that Chrome is living in the basement of her grandfather’s house. Her say has come as she brings Berry Blossom to her house.
I bet everyone wonders what the girl’s name is, Berry Blossom. Her name is Noichigo Kaju. Yes, she sees the videos on the news daily, which she finds embarrassing. Of course, her cat is behind it when Kuma Kaijin hands Kaju a flyer, and she is shocked after reading it. It’s one of Chrome’s attempts to entice Berry Blossom to fight Chrome at a park. The funny thing is that there is a typhoon, and he would rather play a board game. Yep, it shows how poor of a job he is at being a villain.
With that, Chizuko decides to go out and find Berry Blossom. When she got to the park, Berry Blossom held onto a tree trunk with a talking cat while the wind was strong, like a typhoon. Yep, Chizuko gushes over her Oshi as Berry Blossom needs rescuing. The funny thing is the cat is arguing with the cat as Berry Blossom insists on waiting for Chrome.
However, Berry Blossom gets hit by a flying trash can, which causes her to become unconscious. Chizuko runs to rescue her as she obsesses after discovering how nice she smells.
She brought it to her house as Chrome was at the front door playing a game of Go. Chizuko eventually throws the board and grabs Chrome into a room, telling him to hide. I doubt he will listen, as Berry Blossom is his enemy. It makes the cat curious. That is when Chizu puts Berry Blossom on the futon as she sleeps. Of course, Chizuko gets emotional as she seems happy to have Berry Blossom in her home. Yep, she gushes over, looking at Berry Blossom up close while the cat wonders what she is doing.
That talking cat that Chizuko rescued is Berry Blossom’s mascot. Berry Blossom is supposed to study for an exam. The talking cat finally introduces himself as Mashiro, and apparently, he helps Berry Blossom, except for the fighting. He is behind those videos, so he is basically like Tomoyo, except the bell is his camera. The funny thing is that Chizuko seems disappointed that Mashiro doesn’t put his good looks to more use when she explains that she is a big fan of Berry Blossom. It shows when Chizuko sleeps in the same Futon that Berry Blossom was earlier. Yep, she Is really in love.
Eventually, Chrome enters the room after he turns off the light. He asks Mashiro to play cards, and Mashiro charges for Chrome as he holds him back. That is until he has Mashiro’s business card as he grabs Berry Blossom and runs off. Chizuko doesn’t seem happy that Chrome appeared out of nowhere. As expected, Mashiro rage scratches a post after thinking about Chrome before realizing that Chrome might be living at the girl’s place.
Chrome wants to do some evil for the second half, as Chizuko suggests kidnapping and holding the person hostage. The funny thing is that Mashiro came over to give a thank-you gift for saving Berry Blossom. She tells Chrome not to come out as she talks to Mashiro and brings him in. The funny thing is that Chrome comes to tie Mashiro up with a jump rope as he attempts to call Berry Blossom to entice her to come over to save her cat. The funny thing is that her grandfather comes in and sees this whole kidnapping as playing. The funny thing is that Chrome calls Mashiro’s phone instead. Thus, Chizuko has to answer it.
Chizuko dials Berry Blossom as she is making breakfast. She eventually picks up as Mashiro tells her to save him until Chrome takes the phone and imitates Mashiro, which is quite funny. The funny thing is that Chrome suddenly collapses as she calls Chizuko his general, as Mashiro thinks Chizuko is his enemy.
Yep, for a moment there, Chizuko goes to the dark side as she answers the call. However, she starts gushing over Berry Blossom’s voice and her ASMR eating. Eventually, she tells her to pick up Mashiro and hang up. Yep, Chizuko couldn’t bring herself to harm her Oshi.
Ultimately, I find it funny that her grandfather unties Mashiro as he thinks the playtime is over as Mashiro walks out and heads home. Chizuko may not be cut for this villainess thing, especially when Berry Blossom is involved. That said, Chizuko’s obsession over Berry Blossom does not disappoint at all because of the yuri, of course.
Like I said, more Chizuko gushing over Berry and less Kuroma clumsiness.
I am intrigued to see what happens when Chizuko FINALLY notices her cute classmate.
